It's alright, but i won't be buying it.

I was so hype when they announced terrorist hunt was coming back. Then they announce no campaign, and they more or less killed my interest in a game I was looking forward to for years. No campaign in a Rainbow 6 game. What's going on in this industry?

It's okay, but the online infrastructure needs a big improvement before I can safely call it a day 1. The matchmaking in the beta is atrociously bad, it's almost unforgivable even for a beta.

The games themselves have plenty of latency as well, lots of lag-spikes and frame rate drops from out of nowhere.

The other major problem I have is that there's a serious imbalance in the practicality of the operators, especially when you compare attackers and defenders.

Attackers get heavy hitters with shields, assault rifles and lethal grenades. Fuze's cluster mine in particular is ridiculously powerful. Not to mention, Thermite, Sledge, Twitch and Montage. I speak no hyperbole, when I say that when I had a team with 3 or 4 shields on it, we were unbeatable. The hipfire you get with your pistol while using a shield is ridiculous, those things are laser accurate and will kill in 1 or 2 shots.

Defenders on the other hand get very little to defend themselves with. No shields, only SMG's or shotguns, and no lethal equipment other than the Cell Phone Bomb which is so noticeable that it doesn't work 9 times out of 10. The best defender right now is Mute, and really the only thing his skill does is shut down the drones at the start.

The armor Rook provides is barely noticeable, Doc is almost useless because he can only heal you after you're downed (and then likely immediately killed), Smoke's gas bombs only work on stationary targets and very limited area denial, Jager's trophy system is rarely useful and Bandit's electric wire is so easily shut down it's not even funny.

Last but not least is Pulse....the character everybody and their grandma were complaining was gonna be OP, and what do you know, they nerfed him into nothing. He's less useful than the recruit, his ability does not work...at all. He needs a major buff now, which is somewhat ironic.
