All of these games were pretty highly rated at the time. There is a reason why ToeJam & Earl got a new game recently.

I think Comix Zone could easily get another game today.

I'm glad to see Kid Chameleon getting some recognition. It was outstanding, but remained in relative obscurity.

The soundtrack of all of these titles stay in constant rotation 🙌

Comix Zone was not underrated it's one of the best-rated Genesis games!
The problem lies that this game like Ristar came so late in the Genesis life cycle that almost nobody played it.
But it still was super well rated.

So this was the new Sega rebranding a while back...a major push for mobile.

Well, call me bummed out.

I feel like this is the opposite direction of how Nintendo do things but this seems equally as wrong. (Hard to argue against free right?) I think releasing compilations of back a catalog for consoles is a better strategy. Like Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection.

It was smart of Sega to put this on mobile. This way they can reach out to a more broad audience and introduce some of the newer generation to sega classics. I wouldn't be surprised if they put it on consoles too eventually. Now i can have all my favorite Sega games from childhood on my phone for free. About to download Comixzone and Altered Beast right now. I'm loving the nostalgia lol

Sega has a back catalog of games that are matched by very few gaming companies that are still alive in the industry. It's a shame that these titles are only coming to mobile platforms. Dark Sniper would be glad to play all of these fantastic Sega games on his PlayStation®4.

Hopefully we will see Sega rise from the ashes and make their return to greatness this generation. Looking forward to seeing Shenmue I and II HD and hopefully Skies of Arcadia HD. Virtua Fighter 6, Streets of Rage 4, Virtua Cop VR, Fighter's Megamix 2 are all great potential blockbuster hits for Sega if they play their cards right and listen to their audience.

I remember getting excited for this a while ago and then I started seeing rumors about it being a mobile program almost immediately. Definitely softened the blow a bit. I'll pass.

Sega has games on every device available.. Personally i think overexposure with their IP's can harm them.. Who's going to want another sega retro console, sega classic hits on every console, and more sega classics on smart phones? IDK i think they need to take a step back and focus on QC.. Honestly Sonic Mania is the only game i really want.. Valkyria Chronicles too i suppose but theres way too many iterations everywhere.
