2016 is getting full and I don't have a lot of money guyz!

Sucks, but at least the extra time will be used to improve the game. Until then we have endless Mario levels to play.

I was mad at first but then remembered I will be very busy with Fall Out 4 and Xenoblade X so I can wait. Other games as well but those two will see the most action.

Not a surprise. Take the time to polish the textures a bit, put online multiplayer in there. We've waited this long. A few more months won't hurt.

It does hurt them for the holiday season though.

Happy with this myself. Got the following on my end of year list already...fatal frame (limited edition go Europe!) Xenoblade x, metal gear, star wars and assassin creed syndicate. Too many games in too short a time!

On one hand, that will allow me to properly appreciate the backlog of games I have acquired, on the other hand...gutted! Yes, I'm sure the extra time afforded said game will offer its rewards, but I'll admit it, this is a big loss for the Wii U leading up to Christmas.

Plus people have been moaning so much that its sub par with a few specific issues (textures, empty landscapes NON MANDATORY gamepad controls etc) if some of these can be improved then that kills those arguments and thats just great for everyone

Delays happen all the time. If they make the game better, who cares.

Nintendos holiday still has Fatal Frame, Xenoblade, Mario Tennis, Zelda 3DS, Yokai, Animal Crossing and more. Not great, but still better than the other options.

My comments on this delay announcement will be available following the release of a patch after the game is on shelves.

I think the dual screen controls are an issue and they made the decision to use duel screens based on Iwata trying to justify the wii u. Now they need to make that concept work more smoothly. Also nicer cinematics are important. Even still, this a is a big loss. I wa really looking forward to playing this in November.
Hope we get Pikmin 4 as compensation.

Didn't care regardless. The game only looked like a rental to me. I really just want them to work on NX titles because I'm pretty much done with my Wii u, besides smash and assuming Zelda is being moved to NX, so I just want to be impressed with the initial reveal.

Maybe less time playing with puppets in treehouses, more time actually working on games? Oh come on, we all know it's going to suck no matter how much time they have.

I wasn't planning on buying this until about March or April anyway. I hate a backlog, so I typically keep said backlog in the store, until I'm ready to play. I have never been bothered by droughts as a result.

The game is finished already. They pushed it to 2016 because there is nothing releasing next year. We are not even sure if Zelda will come out. It might release for the NX system.

Good hopefully they remove the gimmicky controls and up the rez then i might consider it ;)

Lets ignore the fact that 2 weeks ago, every preview about this game was positive. If Nintendo wants to make it better? We are in for a treat.

Damn...that sucks. But in all honesty what the presented wasn't impressive and when I read the statement of "polishing the level design" I am hoping it means making the graphics look a lot better than what was shown.

This is good news, really. Star Fox is looking a bit rough right now, so it's good it's getting more time to get polished. I hope it improves at least a bit on the graphics department with this delay.

The only thing that looked off putting was using the Wii U Gamepad motion controls

tbh this is the first I'm hearing that people didn't like it. YouTubers were swearing by the game like they do every nintendo release when it dropped. But I do remember my main reason for skipping was the dumb controls.

Biggest disappointment from Platinum games IMO

If they do a re-release with normal controls it would sell and be beloved. Motion controls have a place but most of the time they are just not there yet.

Give me Wii Bowling for the switch already!
