Talk time maybe 3 hours between charges . I know these smart phones are great and all, but charging one 2 times a day is a bit annoying . I still use my trusty Nokia n8 . 5 days between charges . Just doesn't browse the web very well. And it's a little slow , but damn the thing is un- breakable .

Not to mention all the heat they generate what that could do to your health. Its cool smart phones get more and more powerful, but really the heat generation is over the top.

Gigafactory next year. Will make more batteries than all factories on earth combine and has the smarest people on earth testing breakthroughs. It still will take a few years before we see any fruits of that labor. I say min 2 years or longer we will start to see amazing things with all batteries.

Love Tesla, amazing what they're doing. I'm not sure why we aren't making more buildings like that!

Can this concept PC end the keyboard-versus-controller debate?

Acer's IFA press conference offered a preview of a future where gamers don't have to choose between a keyboard and a traditional controller.

I think the debate stopped when consoles finally embraced mouse and keyboard and when games started showing up on Steam that require you to play with a controller. Then there's the PS4/5 controller and the Steam Deck/Controller. The laptop doesn't interest me at all, but there hasn't been another Steam Controller since the original due to the lawsuit and if a company can successfully bring into the market an alternative then I think that will get much more attention than another gimmicky laptop aimed at "gamers".

Acer goes in on gaming handhelds

Acer is looking to light the gaming world on fire with its first gaming handheld PC, the Acer Nitro Blaze 7.

more competition for the nintendo switch 2 and im sure there will be more to be released soon. there are so many powerful handheld gaming systems on the market now that gamers have quite a lot to choose from and arent limited to just one weak hardware like the switch. im quite sure nintendo seeS that there are a lot of new hardware on the market and will release a very powerful nintendo switch 2 and price it cheaper than the rest.

Retro1986621d ago (Edited 621d ago )

Have to say that i disagree, based on my own preferences. Im not at all interested in all the other handhelds after trying them all at home. Switch is to me superior because of exclusives, hybrid, simple setup, better quality feeling in general (they dont push it to far). The whole package just gives more joy and quality of life. And price is also more tastefull for most people. Yes, switch 2 will be cheaper, but thats because the hardware in general will be «weaker» (because nintendo can make better looking games than the rest can with better hardware).

I play the Switch for exclusives, having said that, I enjoy both my Switch and Steam Deck immensely, pretty sure Nintendo doesn't think of the handheld PC space as a sector they're competing in.
