The future of Xenosaga is uncertain. The IP is owned by Bandai Namco, but developer Monolithsoft is owned by Nintendo. Yet, fans have seen legendary Bandai Namco producer Katsuhiro Harada as a ray of hope for the revival of the series.
G-MODE will release Namco-developed game Xenosaga: Pied Piper as a G-MODE Archives+ title for Switch via Nintendo eShop and PC via Steam in Japan, the company announced.
Everyone: We want a Xenosaga Trilogy Remaster/Release/Remake!
Namco: We hear you! We are going to re-release a Xenosaga mobile phone game!
Everyone: wtf?
Now now... guys... Maybe this is part of testing the waters for either a trilogy re-release , remaster, remake, or a reboot?
Katsuhiro Harada: "I’d like to share that I’ll be leaving Bandai Namco at the end of 2025. With the TEKKEN series reaching its 30th anniversary—an important milestone for a project I’ve devoted much of my life to—I felt this was the most fitting moment to bring one chapter to a close."
Yeah, Tekken has been his baby so it'll be interesting to see the direction the next game takes...if they even decide to make it without him.

I don't think there's been enough new characters between Tag 2 to now to warrant a Tag 3.
Besides, there's that other Tekken game supposedly not canceled.... TxSF......
Tekken tag tournament 2 is one of my favourite Tekken games ever so I would love another one :)
