I wonder if they will announce Final Fantasy XIII Haeresis. If they say its PS3 exclusive co-developed by Sony and Square Enix, that would be a bombshell.

"Final Fantasy Agito XIII will be released on the PSP."
Awesome! I was looking at the info on this game earlier today and was wondering why it was only a cell phone game. Now I can fully enjoy it.

"Dissidia: Final Fantasy will be released on December, 2008. In addition, potions based on the game have been revealed and according to Japanese blogs Kefka will be playable."
I'm guessing this is for Japan, but this is still not too far away. Glad to hear Kefka is playable.

I don't get it, wasn't there suppose to be a jaw dropping announcement? I mean there were some major announcements for PSP, but there wasn't any date reveals regarding ffv-xiii. Neither any thing concrete on ff-xiii.
What was the big announcement that was swinging the ball in Sony's court.

geda6500d ago

sushipoop6500d ago

Breakfast6500d ago

It says day one...so im assuming there's more...?

Infernus6500d ago

Yeah Day 2 has the spoilers. They have to leave the best till last.

Rybnik6500d ago

Mainly:

PSP game announcements and the fact that AC Complete ships with the FF XIII PS3 demo.

Immortal Kaim6500d ago

Im fairly certain this fan event is the same each day, it gives a chance for all the fans to check out what's coming up. So I would be very surprised if there are any more announcements.

I don't agree with that. I WISH I could agree with that. But buying habits and customer opinions prove otherwise

We've seen developers in the AAA space try new things and ideas. More often than not, the customers aren't willing to give things a chance, or not enough people buy into the project for it to grow.

Creativity works better in the indie space because the budgets, pressures, and expectations aren't the same.

Scissorman31d ago

it's a nice idea and it worked during the PS2/PS3-era when AAA didn't cost hundreds of millions of dollars. smaller budgets and shorter development time left room for more creativity and more risk. a game didn't need to sell 4 million+ copies to break even. things are different now.

This is the guy who bragged about crunching his staff and having them work through the night. Crunch culture has lost more talent and done more damage to the industry than any other factor. Screw him.
