Fail a QTE in Until Dawn? You might die. Fail a QTE in The Order? You’ll just do it again.

Tekken 3 joins PlayStation Plus Premium.
Great month for Halloween, glad that until dawn is the PS5 version, definitely having a few beers and some friends round for that
What a line up silent hill 2 is a great addition
Also don't sleep on like a dragon Yakuza such a good game

Ben from Netto's Game Room takes a look at 7 video games where dying doesn't mean the end, as the story and world simply continue on without you.

A sequel to Sony and Ready At Dawn's action-adventure game, The Order: 1886, would have featured larger-scale battles as well as multiplayer.
I missed it when games use to have a multiplayer to them.
Hope Sony revives the game at one point
Why add multiplayer when the single player (despite enjoying it for what it was) had flaws?
You'd work out the issues with how you craft the single player then once you’ve perfected it do multiplayer after.

"Two sequels were planned for the franchise, The Order 1891 and The Order 1899. While the third game was never in development, Weerasuriya says he had planned where the story of the franchise was planned to go, if he had been able to develop the full trilogy."
...
Alas, we'll also might never get the PC version of 1886, which is currently residing in some dev's hard drive, nearly ready for a release if required.
It’s a shame we didn’t gave its chance to this franchise.
Game world was very interesting, and gameplay could have evolved to a major hit with sequels.
Not even speaking about graphics that were way ahead of their time.
I think MP being co-op would’ve been awesome. Essentially, I always viewed this as Sony’s take on the Gears series.
However, it really failed to measure up to what I expected. I definitely saw the potential but there were some things that really bogged it down for me like the forced slow walking segments (which I know was to hide loading), the repetitive warehouse werewolf fights, not enough variety in enemies, oddly we fought more humans than Darkstalkers, and the stealth sections were infuriating.
One thing there’s no denying though, this damn game was a looker. Such a shame at the wasted potential.
The way the games were marketed from the moment they're announced plays a big part in expectations. Leading up to release The order previews were empty and basically felt like the developers were hiding something. When Until Dawn was announced they told us from the get go the type of game we were going to play. The Order 1886 was a good game for what it is but Until Dawn is miles better. The story, the characters were so well crafted and pushed it's story telling forward. For example, I freaking hated Emily through out the game but as soon as I got a chance to control her I some how started rooting for her during the events that take place in her play through. The Order is a new IP so I do hope that they hit it out of the park with the sequel.
The Order: 1886 succeeded its goal by dramatically increasing PS4 sales in February. Let's see if Until Dawn can accomplish the same feat in August for PS4.
Am I missing something with this article?? It just ends abruptly, no final thoughts. Wouldnt call The Order a failure. It sold over a million copies which is pretty good for a new IP exclusive. The devs know where they could improve the game if they got the green light for a sequel. Whenever I get my PS4 Im gonna pick this game up cheap and see for myself. But from what Ive seen and read they should open up the levels a little more, give you choices, multiple endings, more cool weapons, more monsters, bigger battles, and an arcade challenge mode (almost all single player games do it these days)
The Order is a shooter and Until Dawn is survival horror. The Order didn't fail just the pew pew genre is getting tired compared to the Horror genre.
Critically speaking, the Order scored lower than expected. But a million sold in 6 months means peeps didnt care and bought it anyways. Until Dawn might be the better game, but time will tell if it sells as well.
