Makes sense. Youtube is...a very big platform and been around very long lol. If I could go to a game streaming tab on my youtube app instantly, that'd be cool honestly.

Don't underestimate the power of YouTube livestreaming to quickly grow to become market leader. Many live gamers have carved a niche on Twitch. But [IF] YouTube offers higher resolution and frame rates, more reliable streams, less delay with comments then I believe gamers will give it a try.
The next PlayStation 4 update is rumoured to include the option to broadcast to YouTube and you can bet that it will later follow on XBO.
PewDiePie is not to everyone's taste. But if decided to make a weekly live show the sponsorship money he could get would be phenomenal and he could potentially get more viewers than the live E3 conferences.
