how am i taking sides when i provided that his question was indeed valid yet he didn't think the opposing view was worthy of mentioning? i simply asked why. are you totally lost in the discussion taking place? taking sides would mean one view was right but not the other. mind showing where i said that? oh that's right, you can't.

why is using history stupid? why is comparing the same company who sold an earlier peripheral to a new one different? oh i get it, it's because the move didn't do much at all and now all the excitement is back with morpheus and speaking of taking sides we all know how you take sides with whatever it is sony offers.

You're really the last person to call anyone out about taking sides. your comment history reads like a major nelson blog. Anyway, to answer your question, I didn't call him out on it because I don't necessarily think he is completely wrong. Personally I don't think it will get more gaming support than the oculus. I think the oculus would most likely beat it on gaming support. The thing is sony does not only do gaming and they have already stated they will be bringing movie support to the morpheus as well.

Sony has their own movie studios and I can see them providing a ton of support for morpheus with their movies. If you combine gaming and movies then I think morpherus will get a lot more support than people realize. Would there be more support on morpheus than on oculus? who knows, because morpheus may also get support from other movie studios. No one knows at this point.

Even though I don't totally agree with his statement I can see some sort of logic in it. Whereas it seems kiwi has some sort of inside info to make such a bold and seemingly illogical statement. Also, I can only take sides if I said someone was right and someone was wrong. I never told kiwi he was wrong and I never argued with him. I simply asked him to provide the info that he is basing that statement on. And I also asked him to not use madeup facts and statistics.

Morpheus sucks, specs are just average or less,
and yea there won´t be many games for that.
Simply because the PS4 release is some time back by now, and it still just have a small selection of good games.

On the PC side you have much more diversity and content, and the HMDs are more interesting to me then sony proprioty shit.

really? i didn't realize major nelson said that microsoft's partnership with oculus was silly because i did a few times. what the xbox one is doing with oculus support doesn't make a whole lot of sense. i think you'd be better off suggesting i sound like gabe newell because that vr option looks to blow people away. but then again anyone who questions anything about sony is automatically labeled a xbox fan by people like you so this just comes with the territory. ain't that right shu?

this has nothing to do with the original comment. he said games and history has shown sony does not support peripheral devices very well since it divides the community. i do hope i am wrong because after investing heavily into playstation move i am very reluctant to do it again with morpheus. sony even came out and aid that morpheus is ready, they just don't have enough game support yet. vr looks very interesting and i really want to give it a go, including morpheus. tons of potential but i want to see real commitment first.

the pc on the contrary being an open platform likely has less regulations and requirements put in place and with indie games being the pc platform of choice still that's where i imagine most support will come from. i do not see sony investing heavily into big production games for morpheus. they will try and shoehorn games with it like they did with playstation move but since it requires more resources from the hardware that's going to be a tough challenge. that's why it's likely to get smaller indie games at first until the userbase is large enough to justify bigger commitments. by that time the ps5 will be on peoples minds.
