To answer the above question, sadly I have not played Peace Walker, I keep meaning to get around to playing the HD version on PS3, but can never find the time. It seems to feature a lot of the core features that will be found in Phantom Pain.

All equally as good for me. Ghost Babel and Ac!d 2 were also good despite not being canon.

MGS3>MGS>PW>MGS2>M GS4>MG2>MG1

My favorite is Snake Eater, but I think Metal Gear Solid is the best one.

I don't want to put GZ on the list because I see it as part of V and that won't release till next week so I can't add it, but I suspect MGSV will be near the top.

Also I don't see Portable OPs and Rising as being canon so I won't list them either.

It was 1999 I was in primary school a friend of mine came and told me of a certain game called mgs..well we talked about it and I just felt like okay...mayb another game..In 2002 I was in secondary school now another friend called David (ironic) came and started telling me of snake and metal gear solid..by this time Gabe Logan was my badass agent..nobody could top him..not until 2003 another friend of mine called Oscar( psn id munis10, go look at his platinum trophy count) brought me a ps1 and metal gear solid integral disc...... I was halfway playing primal ps2 if you remember this game( Jane Tate,scree,arella etc).... Well I fired up the ps1 and started playing my greatest game of all time....do forgive my taste but ffvii and taubasa don't come near mgs1...mgs games are great but.mgs 1.....listen to the encounter or nuclear warhead storage room ost.....see u soon pp

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Wuchang is great. Nine Sols didn’t have a physical copy so I never played it but I’ve heard good things so I will check it out. I stopped playing sports games many years ago when before the card dlc’s or whatever they’re called.
