Single Player versus Player One. There is a subtle difference, but does Xbox One lag behind in the single player space? Luke Lohr over at Xbox Enthusiast asks the question.

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "All in all, it’s not hard to see why Alan Wake has received a bit of a cult following (there’s that famous foreshadowing again). It’s a title that blends themes and gameplay, while pushing the limits of storytelling by putting stories within stories and letting you read those stories before you get to that part in… the story. It has flaws, to be sure - the gameplay side can’t quite keep up with the rest of its ambitions - but overall it’s a great game that stands out among its peers and is undeniably… one for the books."

Halo will make its PS5 debut with a massively modernised remake of the original Xbox game, Combat Evolved.
That’s according to the Halo Leaks account on X (or Twitter), which has accurately outed information about the franchise in the past.
I expect this to be announced pretty soon. Can't wait, this game was awesome. I wonder how of a remake it'll be though, hopefully not a remaster because we already have that lol.
Better reboot than another re-touch (remake after an already remaster) .... but 343/Halo is incompetent now, so .... guess this is best they can do with help of Coalition
So much memories with halo.
The original Xbox was my first console (actually 64 but barely played) and the first game was halo. Me and my brother use to play coop almost everyday.
We eventually traded in for a PS2 because of kingdom hearts lol
I played the first 2 Halo games. That's Bungie's Halo.. I do not know whether 343's Halo is as good as Bungie's.
Either ways Halo is one of Microsoft's big franchises. So many rumours so it's becoming more likely it'll come to PS5

Glenn Israel writes: "As of today and after seventeen long years, I am officially no longer contributing to the Halo universe. There is little more I can say for the moment, though I intend to share this particular story in its entirety when it is absolutely safe to do so next year. In the meantime, I have a message for anyone and everyone who needs to hear it.
I know that the state of our industry seems dire, but never forget that you are *free to choose*. No illusion of security nor promise of wealth or fame or power is worth trading away your health, your dignity, your ethics or values - and no one can force you to. Stay strong, take evidence when necessary, and find where you belong."
He said something very marking . We tend to complain a lot about the industry but deep down I realize that we never have we been offered this crazy amount of games all available for you to play now . You can literally play any sorts of games in 2025 . Nobody is forcing you to buy the latest COD or the latest BF . You’re more of a 8 bit cozy gaming guy there’s a whole niche of modern games for that . You like micromanaging there’s games for that . I feel like we have been spoiled so much we just stopped being realistic and thinking for ourselves . We follow trends cry about stuff online when you are the buyer you have the power .
....wth happened over there?
Does this confirm a new Halo by next year?
What did they want him to do that made him feel it was morally wrong or a insult to his integrity?
Well how about that, a name change doesn’t fix internal issues
Who would have thought
What?
Well, I get your point... In the near future there are SP driven games that'll release as you've mentioned.
ReCore, ScaleBound and Quantum Break..
XO has always excelled in MultiPlayer. That's because the games are made with MP in mind backed up by a solid network too.
I enjoyed Sunset OD Ori and Ryse and those were solo experiences. They have Mp components but I preferred playing alone. I wouldn't say the Xbox is lagging behind in the SP department. It's just a solid platform for multi-player.
The single player on all the flagship franchises e.g Crackdown, Halo, Gears of war, Forza, Fable etc. has always been amazing to me. I chose xbox over playstation mainly BECAUSE the single player on these games appeals to me so much. I absolutely LOVE story in games, especially in single player and I would say the Xbox exclusive single player holds its own very well and I hope the trend continues in Forza, Fable, Gears of war and Halo 5 (best single player imo) this year :)
It really doesn't have to be one or the other. Halo has great multiplayer as well as single player . Quantum break looks great next year
I've always found that playstation was the place for me for single player games but at the same time there are some amazing single player experiences on xbox.
