Just as i thought, a very good MGS type game from a very talented man.

I look forward to playing this on PS4 and Vita.

Mike Bithell does it again. Lovely guy.

And so, PlayStation 4 just keeps on getting great games, and I'm glad the Vita version is still on its way and a part of the cross-buy deal. Would love to take mine and other people's creations on the road.

Damn... LOL.

Look at those lone disagrees we're getting. Somebody out there doesn't like the PS4 getting great games. Maybe it proves that "sparse" and "barren" were never actually a real thing. Or maybe they don't think that Mike Bithell is a very friendly and talented bloke.

Either way, they're totally wrong and it sucks to be them.

A Look at All of the Stealth Games Available on Vita

VGChartz's Adam Cartwright: "The stealth genre is one that some would argue doesn’t even exist – many titles include stealth elements, but actually fit into one of a number of other genres like action, platformer, or third-person shooter. Ever since the breakout success of the Metal Gear franchise (in particular Metal Gear Solid), though, the genre seems on much more stable footing and it demonstrated that you can have a veritable blockbuster on your hands relying only on stealth mechanics as the main gameplay element.

In recent years we’ve seen other things like Assassin’s Creed, Hitman and Splinter Cell continue to push the genre forward, although it still has somewhat limited appeal. Thankfully, the Vita has a healthy selection of stealth games available (and even more with backwards-compatibility), meaning if you’re looking to do some sneaking on the go then you’ll be well served with the console."

I never played volume. Is it any good?

arkard3532d ago

watching videos it looks like it plays similar to Metal Gear Solid VR missions. Id probably pick up if it was about 10$

sypher3532d ago

It's a good game yeh. If you're worried about money, pick up this limited release, play through it and resell it afterwards, you'll probably double or triple your money.

Tenchu: SA on PSOne comes to mind.
MGS is great but Tenchu is ops it in my book.

Odoylerules0003719d ago

Tenchu! NICE! Wow, I haven't seen anyone mention Tenchu in such a long time. Really, they're my favorite stealth games from back in the day. Ayame or Rikimaru?

miyamoto3719d ago (Edited 3719d ago )

That's a toughie

but seriously

It's either between Proto-Rikimaru
https://www.youtube.com/wat...

or Manji Cult
https://www.youtube.com/wat...

Nothing beats the original that won Shuhei Yoshida's heart.

Odoylerules0003719d ago

@miyamoto Okay, my mind is officially blown. First, at how gutter the first Tenchu test footage is(that jump sound effect..), and second...Wow! I had no idea that was motion capture. I immediately knew what I was looking at when he started moving, though. Incredible. Thanks a lot for showing me those, I had no idea those videos existed.

What about the one that was so stealthy, no one played it at all because nobody knew it was there?!

I'm actually having some fun with Shadows of Mordor and sneaking around the orcs and uruks
