I have EA Access specifically so I can play battlefront early. However, it's nice to have extra games to play. Dragon Age Inquisition is in the vault too. So its not so bad.

Is it still the case you only get limited time on the game throughout that week of early access?

I am dying to play it but am happy to wait for the retail release on PS4, I suspect this will be the superior console version and that matters more to me than a few hours of early access.

I dont like it, they did the same thing with destiny, when they dont have marketing rights they find some way of rubbing that deal on them.

Not ALL xbox players get it first. Only one's that paid a fee first. I've also got an xbox but I don't use access. I've got all EA games that I want on ps4 and due to digital prices in the UK being extremely high, any discount that I would have gotten with access still makes it more expensive than physical.

I do find Xbox's reaction to promotion deals held by other companies to be odd.

Xbox has plenty / has had plenty of 3rd party promotion exclusivity and Sony, as far as I know has never attempted these methods to circumvent restrictions.

In that same report they also stated a gampess price increase wouldn't be done directly because of the acquisition. Even before the aqustion they said a gamepass increase was being discussed and was a possibility. They never said they would never increase the price of gamepass. Show me where they said gamepass price wouldn't increase.

No. He was only an image of something Xbox wasn't. Xbox was its community, its games, the technology, etc. and Major Nelson was only an old guy with a bad script surrounded by marketing people with the sole goal of making money every month and getting a better contract with Microsoft the following year.

I still remember that interview Angry Joe did with Major Nelson when he called him out on Xbox One. I did like Major Nelson however, NO spokesman is trustworthy.

Like I said when I heard about this. Microsoft is shutting down mixer because they started far behind the other streaming services well does microsoft & Phil Spencer want to shut down the Xbox Division at the same time then as they have been loosing to Sony for the past 3 generations of gaming consoles so in their eyes they should be shutting down the Xbox Division as well. This is how it has gone Sony had a year head start with PS2 to Original Xbox Microsoft lost, Xbox 360 had a years head start to PS3 Microsoft lost & Xbox One & PS4 only had a few weeks between them & guess what Microsoft still lost yet Microsoft is still coming out with a 4th console does anybody see where I am going with this. If I was Microsoft I would have gone with either Twitch or Youtube as they are much bigger names in game streaming services.
