
COG writes - Hacking in gaming is usually a means to an end. Games like BioShock and Splinter Cell have used it as a quick distraction to help further gameplay. Hacknet puts hacking front and centre and it looks like it'll make for a very interesting game when it releases.

Hardcore Gamer: Hacknet just keeps on giving. After the Hacknet Labyrinths expansion, they’re now moving onto finally giving fans one thing they’ve asked for time and time again – mod tools.
