
With Race Driver: Create and Race, developer Firebrand Games has proven that it is an incredibly capable studio when it comes to the Nintendo DS. So IGN was pretty stoked to hear that the team was put to the task of bringing the more arcade-style, over-the-top design of Trackmania -- a very popular, community-focused racing game - -for the Nintendo DS. After playing with a near final version of Trackmania DS, it's clear that IGN's enthusiasm for the handheld project was justified.

Gaming Target writes:
"This week, Activision brings their Little League Baseball series to the PS3 and Xbox 360 with Little League World Series Baseball 2010. The popular TrackMania also makes it's Wii debut (a DS version titled TrackMania Turbo is also on the release schedule). That's about it."

GamerZines: Ubisoft has announced in their latest release schedule that Trackmania Turbo will be released on the DS this September, coinciding with a Wii release featuring the same franchise.
