Gamescom 2015, the largest consumer gaming show in the world, is nearly upon us – and, as usual, Xbox will be there in full force. To kick things off, this year’s Xbox gamescom 2015 Briefing starts on Tuesday, August 4 at 4:00 p.m. CEST (10:00 a.m. EDT). You’ll get in-depth looks at tons of upcoming games coming in 2015 and beyond. We’ll give you a solid rundown of the things you should be looking forward to on Xbox and Windows 10.

The indie gaming scene is thriving. During the past few years it has been made easier for aspiring developers to create and release smaller, but nonetheless fantastic titles. The PS4 and Xbox One are home to a large number of indie titles, and even Nintendo, whose policy towards smaller games was awkward and intimidating, has made great strides to improve upon its relationship between them.

The toys-to-life genre has become an undeniable success, spawning series and figurines from Activision, Disney and Warner Bros. The tried and tested formula for the genre, aimed at a family-orientated market, has offered games ranging in critical reception, and also toys that any fan of the I.P would love to collect.
Square enix:
What a ride we have been on! GDC Europe kicked off the week for us and we had two great talks at the developer event. Both focused on technology (one on sound, the other on tools and sandbox design) and the way we’re making HITMAN a new and interesting title.
And then we drove straight into the, let’s face it, pretty mind-blowing world of Gamescom where hundreds of thousands of eager game fans migrate to every year.
