GamerFitNation: Elite Dangerous is a game that we have heard much about over the past couple of months. After playing the game at Pax East on the Oculus Rift, the game is finally coming over to the Xbox One. GamerFitNation’s very own Tamika “Redinfamy” Moultrie recently got the chance to speak with Ben Dowie, producer on the title, and we learned a lot.
Frontier Developments has showcased the first iteration of the roadmap of content and features coming to Elite Dangerous in 2026.

Pair open-world exploration with an immersive outer space setting, and the result is what players get in these incredible space games.
starfield is fallout with a space fast travel disguised as a mini game. technically space, but more open world sci fi.
The developers of the space simulator Elite Dangerous at Frontier Developments revealed a brand-new ship coming to the game.
This game really is amazing. I havent played anything like it before. Space genuinely scares me and the sense of scale can really be unnerving. If only this had VR support. My days,
"at the show it was announced that the Oculus would work with the Xbox One, with the potential to bring VR to the Xbox One masses"
I totally missed this announcement and it's awesome news. I also totally called this same day they announced the ms/Oculus gamepad/api partnership
I played the trial and only got to the 3rd tutorial but I really enjoyed the level of detail and nuances with controlling the ship. They can be confusing and odd to interact with on console but I enjoyed it and will be buying this game for sure. Reminds me of Freelancer which I played endlessly online years ago.
Its missing a key feature that the pc has, and thats the button mapping. i have a type pad so i would love the ability to set it up to use specific commands by tapping one button.
I really hope they do something with the tutorials before the final console launch, even die hard fans agree that they could be greatly improved, they even send you off to watch youtube videos, come on Frontier you can do better, at the very least put those videos in game.
