That's according to a leaked email from Batman publisher Warner Bros. to Australian retailer EB Games, which was passed on to Kotaku Australia.

Just go buy the ps4 version if you really want to play the game.

Kalebninja3972d ago

i preordered the premium edition for 35$ i'd rather wait than pay console prices.

Gwiz3972d ago

They should send me a PS4 copy and shove that PC version where the sun don't shine.

KilluaX33972d ago

I feel that this game needs 60fps.

OhMyGandhi3972d ago

it says "november 2015" on the steam page. It said that awhile ago, and people were arguing the point.

I played the game on my aging HD 6870, 16GB ram, on an i7 2600k, and it ran...poorly. frame rate, missing textures, and so on.

I upgraded my GPU to a 980, and it ran well, not AMAZING, but well enough to play.

Bottom line, after sinking my teeth into the game, and beating it a few days ago, people aren't missing anything. Wait for a sale, and by that time, WB should release the game at a heavily discounted price for PC owners to make up for this.

Yeah, it's running all right on my system - also i7-2600K, 16GB RAM, but GTX 970. Haven't gotten too far but no glitches yet.

I wonder if they just managed to get it working, and ran out of time to actually optimize it?

iamnsuperman3972d ago

It runs alright on mine (i5 4670, 8GB RAM, GTX 970) but the gameworks smoke kills the frame rate and I did encounter 3 game breaking bugs that needed a restart. But like you said people are not missing much with this game. Don't get me wrong it is fun but parts become stale quickly.

Gwiz3972d ago

3570k,GTX970,16GB RAM,i do not share the opinion of it running okay,it's missing certain graphical settings and it looks rather a dumbed down version of UE3( really this engine?and still this broken release?)

Activemessiah3972d ago

I have no idea why the people who bought this on Steam put up with it... I'd get a refund straight away and buy a game that works.

Gwiz3972d ago

I have no other choice,it came as a GTX970 package deal.
Some deal eh?!! XD

aquaticDonut3972d ago

I got it on GMG and was afraid I just got screwed over. Luckily, a couple days after release, GMG announced they'd be taking refunds for the game, so I got out safely.

From someone on the net XD,

"Quite amazing that they released it like that, Warner is making Bethesda look like Nintendo"

We hand-picked the 20 best Steam Deck games under $10 in the Steam Autumn Sale, up to 95% off

I would also add Risk of Rain 2 as long as you don't stray too far from a power source as each run can be long as the hours melt away. Another thing to note is that based on the reports, the FPS may drop into the 40s if a lot of enemies are on the screen.

There is also the Half Life series. If you haven't played half-life before then you can do so now at the super low price.

Mafia was amazing looking and had a great story. Played flawlessly at 30fps as well without dips 99% of the time.

The same is true for Jedi Fallen Order

Sony games as also on sale. Picked up Rachet and Clank, cant wait to try it!
