Yet, it still doesn’t have a release date. Why? According to Hello Games’ Sean McMurray, there will be a release date soon.

I believe he said he will announce a release date when they feel comfortable they will be able to reach it. Wish more devs would take this stance.

Originally I was thinking end of 2016 but after latest gameplay footage I wouldn't be surprised if it came out end of this year or very early next, it looked quite complete and bug free.
