Last week at the now shambled mess our poor industry calls "E3", Microsoft showed off a fancy new 360 dashboard, entitling it "The Xbox Experience", giving themselves the self-importance normally reserved for kings. Luckily, we do have some very naughty people in our industry who like to take down companies a peg or two and force them to up their security, and low and behold someone has only gone and leaked the new fancy dashboard update over at the Maxconsole forums.
With the ninth mainline installment looming, it feels like the right moment to rank every mainline Resident Evil game from worst to best.
At first I was like, No Code Veronica on the list!? But then I seen Mainline. The list checks out, but I would personally put 2 over 4.
I'll take 2 over 4 also. And even without a number, I don't see how Code Veronica, my other favorite in the franchise, isn't mainline when it's the actual sequel to RE2.
The original RE was the best. Its not on the list which makes no sense.
The remake of it was alright but should be higher on this list.

I just started this game last night, just the player creation had me upset. You choose male but they stand like a female. Eyebrows are all effeminate, face, and verything seems to be modeled after a female with a thin male overlay.
I only played the opening and didn’t even complete that before I turned the game off. I will likely go back and try it again, but a very weird first impression.
The franchise has been complete utter garbage for almost 20 years. The first one was the only decent game of the lot of them.

Honestly Janky Generic feeling titles with Humor that tried to way too hard. People criticize Borderlands for its humor, but holy hell, still leagues better than any SR.
Disc 1 of Xbox Game Studios' 2006 role-playing game, Blue Dragon, has been decompiled, and a native PC port is now available.
I've been wanted to revisit the game in the back of my mind for years and this is big. There's still a good handful of 360 games locked to the system I'd love to see now that the seal is broken on decompiling these games.

This dashboard update is so pointless. The blades were fine, the only thing I'm looking forward to is installing on my hard drive. Sadly I'm running out of space because of Rock Band DLC.
