Why Is 'Batman: Arkham Knight' So Violent?

Forbes: “I’m not going to kill you,” Batman says to a burglar in Tim Burton’s 1989 movie, a remarkable thing to say to someone you’re helding over the ledge of a roof. Like its predecessors, Batman: Arkham Knight overflows with violent scenarios pulled from this mold, encounters that seem impossible to imagine not being fatal but which never actually are. It’s always clear Batman wants to kill, and the only thing preventing him from doing so is some private system of psychological restraint that’s inaccessible to everyone other than Batman.

Alfred: "Guess who I saw in the city today, master Bruce."
Batman: "Who?"
Alfred: "Not your parents"
Batman: "Alfred, why you do this?"
Alfred: "Because they told me to."
Batman: "Who?"
Alfred: "Not your parents"

That's why.

Im confused? Do they think differently of the Batman universe than I do? Is Gotham a place you go for peace and quiet? lol I think if Batman games were more realistic there would be a lot more violence in it, like Joker from Dark Knight for instance.

was anyone put off Batman pretty much snapping the necks or breaking the spines of those who told him where the riddler trophies were located?

I would also add Risk of Rain 2 as long as you don't stray too far from a power source as each run can be long as the hours melt away. Another thing to note is that based on the reports, the FPS may drop into the 40s if a lot of enemies are on the screen.

There is also the Half Life series. If you haven't played half-life before then you can do so now at the super low price.

Mafia was amazing looking and had a great story. Played flawlessly at 30fps as well without dips 99% of the time.

The same is true for Jedi Fallen Order

Sony games as also on sale. Picked up Rachet and Clank, cant wait to try it!
