I'm usually the first one to cry left-wing gender politics but I don't agree, especially about Oracle.

What you see her go through is not only important for the context of the story (the concept of family and sins of the father, etc), its appropriately shocking/distressing (as it was in comics)and the brutality is far (FAR) outweighed by scenes of another male characters suffering later on.

As for her being a damsel in distress, she is in a wheelchair. Id probably admit that as powerful a character Oracle is behind the keyboard, her disability makes her an easy target for villains face to face.

As for the costumes, yes some are a bit revealing but I guess that the comics for you. I'm actually more confused as to by IVY wears plant underpants but a blouse on top.

These retards think every story has to have female characters that are powerful and strong AND not in any way subject to other male characters will AND never need saving by male characters AND need to do things on their own terms.

Wow, Poison Ivy is one of the most powerful characters in the game, and the part early in the game with the gas chamber shows that. She's above the fear toxin entirely. BUT YOU CAN'T SETTLE FOR THAT RIGHT ? NOPE. SHE NEEDS TO DO THINGS ENTIRELY ON HER OWN TERMS.

Barbara Gordon. She's the brains behind Batman's operations right ? She's a pretty cool character. Expect, again, people complaining that she needed saving and therefore is only there for Batman and Gordon to worry about. WHAT ? Isn't that realistic/ totally believable ? Gordon, her Dad constantly worrying about her ? As well as Batman, because, you know, she is in a wheel chair ?

They were literally criticizing the Witcher 3 for having a believable representation of sexism in the game. ENEMY characters would call Ciri 'whore' and 'slut'. Yeah, that's sexism, just like the rampant sadism, racism, fanaticism and disturbing stuff you see throughout the game. It doesn't matter that it completely makes sense in the game. It doesn't matter that it fits in perfectly and is believable in the game world. I mean, at the very least, when enemies scream "I'll rip your balls off...!" to Geralt, you'd think they'd probably call Ciri a slut or whore.

But no, none of that matters. Apparently, the above issue was 'sexually harassing players' while playing Ciri. Context doesn't matter. The game within itself doesn't matter. It's all about randomly finding things that don't align with being politically correct.

Cause everything has to be about how women or minorities or transexuals or homosexuals or incestuous people or some other group is represented. A man hopes that kind of stuff never entered Rocksteady's mind because we can only reach true equality when we stop making decisions about these things based on gender, sexuality, or race. Rocksteady wrote the best story they could and as long as they weren't trying to push a blatantly white male favoring story they're fine.
