Both games have at least one thing in common, though: violence. Bayonetta is a bloody, violent 3D action game in the same vein as Devil May Cry. In it, you control a witch named Bayonetta, who has a number of unique attributes. For one, she is on a mission that involves slaying angelic beasts and creatures. Perhaps more unusual is the fact that her hair transforms into different instruments of death and torture. That's right, in Bayonetta, you're killing angelic monsters using your hair.

I could definitely see a Bayonetta/Dante game. Imagine them initially battling each other before eventually teaming up to take on the big baddies. Now, imagine what their child(ren) would be like.
Bayonetta and Dante I could see but even then with how their lore differs it's a hard sell. For the others...I just can't see it at all.

Bayonetta is a witch who enter contracts with demons for power and Dante is a demon, not really hard to connect.
They could even write in an alliance between the umbra witches and sparda.
On the surface yeah but the actual lore the two games have given us if you go into it...not so much.
