Famitsu has gone up with its first online preview of God Eater Resurrection, Bandai Namco’s newly announced remake of God Eater Burst due out for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita this winter in Japan.
New to the game is the “Predator Style” of combat. Described as a full-scale evolution of Aragami devouring, the combat variation lets players jump and dash at high speeds while using one of among five devour actions that can be set. You might even be able to devour multiple Aragami.
The game also, of course, has updated graphics and is rebuilt from scratch to match the latest hardware. There will also be a new God Eater 2 after-story.
At Bandai Namco's Anime Expo panel God Eater series Producer Yusuke Tomizawa spoke about the game's sales in the West as well as the newest entry in the series.
I really hope that the new God Eater game would have better area, a better combat, much more fleshed out Blood art mechanic (the blood arts in God Eater 2 where underwhelming), better character customization, better online multiplayer matchmaking, more interactions OUTSIDE of combat, and please, no more unnecessary fanservice scenes.
Bring it. I was a little disappointed that godeater2 in the US didnt include resurrection for download. I know, 1st world problems...
