If they fix the framerate lock and performance issues I'll give this a gander. Was very disappointed with the PC port of MKX though. I really hope WB Studios gets it through their skull that they can't pull this kind of thing anymore.

Sad day for PC gamers.

_-EDMIX-_3976d ago

They should have made it clear who was handling the PC port or that a PC version wasn't even being made directly with Rocksteady. Its misleading and very much effects the users purchase.

Many folks knowing this, might just skip the PC version all together. Now...how many here would have gotten this version had they known Iron Galaxy was doing that version?

aquaticDonut3977d ago

Because they did such a great job the first time.

OhMyGandhi3977d ago (Edited 3977d ago )

"fixed" doesn't even begin to describe what they have to do.
But hey, I can't get my money back, so I'll be right here.

I love this:
"This is because an Iron Galaxy QA Tester listed Batman: Arkham Knight under his LinkedIn profile, essentially outing they were working on the game."

May he never find a job in his desired field, ever again.

Iron galaxy, earning their reputation for bad ports and worse fixes.

Rocksteady's New Game Director Is an Assassin's Creed Franchise Veteran

Rocksteady has hired a new game director that not only is an Assassin's Creed franchise veteran but even worked on the Batman Arkham games.

Blad3runner00254d ago

I wonder if ex Ubisoft employees put “worked on Assassins Creed” on their resume or not, as it would give an automatic red flag to avoid hiring them.

cloganart253d ago

Unlike what we may personally think, most AC games have received generally favorable critical acclaim and managed enough commercial success to warrant an uncomfortable amount of sequels. 😂

neutralgamer1992253d ago

A series which has sold over 200 million copies should be on your resume contrary to popular belief people doing the hire want to know if you have had success before

TheColbertinator253d ago

Plenty of gamers enjoyed Valhalla, Odyssey, Ezio's trilogy and the Origins. High critical acclaim and high sellers to boot. Get off your high horse.

Inverno253d ago

The vast majority of the industry follow the Assassin's Creed template for open world games. The issue is fanboys wanna act blind to the fact that all the issues they have with AC are present in all the open world games made in the last decade. While also not having touched an AC game in that long.

It could be great! He worked as Design Director on Arkham: Origins & Game Director on Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Valhalla and Origins.

I think this is a great sign that Rocksteady is shifting back to a Single Player experience after Suicide Squad. That's reason enough for me to celebrate.
