I'm configuring the settings at the moment. I see people yesterday on youtube with a 970 and they get 60 frames or more.

Here with SLI 970 I'm getting 35 frames on average. The new update must have messed it up.

Turns out I haven't installed the driver yet. I will report back how it is using the benchmark mode in Batman.

update:
After the driver. I turn all the graphics settings to the highest and then ran the benchmark. I got 85 FPS on one card. Wow what an improvement.

Now I will try them in SLI.

There is indeed something fu....d up in the game

massthread about issue on pc
holy cow...

Unspoken3979d ago (Edited 3979d ago )

Interesting, getting fluid 60 fps with minor drops due to the new physics fx and being completely maxed out. But that is to be expected, no?

970 SLI

@Ghoul

Do you understand much of what is going on in that thread? Most of it is fairly normal tweaks and issues etc.

Ghoul3979d ago (Edited 3979d ago )

Unspoken

yes i do, and it seems its a complete disaster some are lucky thought and arent affected

edit::

you are correct the forum is filling with positive response.
whatever ill find out tonight myself ^^

Kenshin_BATT0USAI3979d ago (Edited 3979d ago )

I got it free with my graphics card. (gtx 970) It frankly just doesn't run well, to get 60fps you have to edit an .ini file, but for some reason that actually messed with performance too (most likely because they never intended to support 60fps)

I'll probably give it a week or two before trying.

jesus

just look at the feedback
http://store.steampowered.c...

Kenshin is right after all,
this might be the worst PORT in the last decade.

Poroz3979d ago

That's a lot of negative feedback on the steam site. I just woke up and have not even downloaded the patch yet.

Maxor3979d ago

Two words. Drive updates.

Nvidia release theirs yesterday and AMD just released tonight. Using the latest drivers will do wonders for the game's performance, even the AMD guys are happy now.

Activemessiah3979d ago

Explains why there was no pc version reviewed...i suggest waiting

RedDeadLB3979d ago

Smelled it a mile away as well. It's kind of funny that Arkham Origins ran marvelously well and the main devs can't do the same to their own game.

Also, Denuvo sucks dick.

Grap3979d ago (Edited 3979d ago )

I knew this game was shit from the start. And don't get me to start about the batmobile sections. What a joke from arkham city to this.
And they use a shitty drm to break the game.

Ghoul3979d ago

your not contributing anything except wasting internet capacity and serverspace

Grap3979d ago (Edited 3979d ago )

I can't tolerate a person who can't tell the difference between you're and your. You should be ashamed of your self cause English isn't my first language nor it's my second.

starrman19853979d ago (Edited 3979d ago )

I got this and Witcher 3 free with my GPU a month or so back, good thing I'm still playing through The Witcher, give Rocksteady some time to iron out these issues! It's always a shame when this happens though, especially for a game that has been such a critical success on other platforms.

Poroz3979d ago

Why do we the gamers always have to give time to the dev's to finish there games? I dont care what anyone says, This new industry standard sucks. Not all of us can deal with this disappointment as easy as you.

The list of crappy day 1 released games is only getting bigger, and bigger, and bigger

starrman19853979d ago

I am not saying I agree with it, I am just in the fortunate position that it doesn't directly effect me!

It does surprise me how these games get released with such obvious flaws though.

I would also add Risk of Rain 2 as long as you don't stray too far from a power source as each run can be long as the hours melt away. Another thing to note is that based on the reports, the FPS may drop into the 40s if a lot of enemies are on the screen.

There is also the Half Life series. If you haven't played half-life before then you can do so now at the super low price.

Mafia was amazing looking and had a great story. Played flawlessly at 30fps as well without dips 99% of the time.

The same is true for Jedi Fallen Order

Sony games as also on sale. Picked up Rachet and Clank, cant wait to try it!
