Nintendo's E3 this year BLOWED. It was TERRIBLE. Thank god for Bethesda, and Sony's conferences, otherwise this year would've been god awful.

It was the most interesting thing in the digial event and it doesn't even looks good.

Just because the gamepad has a "gyroscope", doesn't mean you need to force that gimmick into your games as well. I can already see the problems with this approach; forcing people to juggle their attention between the TV and the gamepad actually takes away from immersion in a game, rather than enhancing it. Kirby's Rainbow Curse is the ultimate example of this problem, in that game you have to focus 100% on the gamepad, so you don't even get to enjoy the game on the big screen at all.

Shame Nintendo didn't just opt for a standard controller tied to a much better base console, they'd be in a lot better place today if they did. But they're obsessed with "setting themselves apart" from the competition, and that has been their downfall for many years.

I am disappointed. I expected so much more. I guess tehre is time to fill in the emptiness and make the gyroscope optional.

Should be bright as day to Nintendo Fanboys that the Wii U is being abandoned. Possibly as early as next year.

Did you whiners ENTIRELY IGNORE when they said you could use either the pad OR the TV for aiming? That you can use the analog stick for these things?

People say the pad isn't used enough, and when it's finally given a role, Nintendo's the bad guy for doing it.
Just STOP already! The controller isn't as big a freaking problem as you people are making it out to be!

The gameplay looked awesome, the new transformation options were fresh and exciting, everything looked really crisp and fun to experience!

I'll be enjoying the hell out of this when it comes. The rest of you can sit on your butts and miss out because you can't move past traditional joy pads, for something that offers ACTUAL innovation, instead of mere graphical improvements dressed in buzzwords to make them seem like they're more innovative than they actually are.

I'm saddened by this. I don't understand... I don't think that this is what any Starfox fan was looking for. Maybe that's just me, though.

The only thing that looked off putting was using the Wii U Gamepad motion controls

tbh this is the first I'm hearing that people didn't like it. YouTubers were swearing by the game like they do every nintendo release when it dropped. But I do remember my main reason for skipping was the dumb controls.

Biggest disappointment from Platinum games IMO

If they do a re-release with normal controls it would sell and be beloved. Motion controls have a place but most of the time they are just not there yet.

Give me Wii Bowling for the switch already!
