While Mass Effect: Andromeda was let in several key areas, one of its approaches to romances is something Mass Effect 4 should consider revisiting.
I hope Mass Effect 4 ignores the inferior prequels and instead closely follows the far superior Mass Effect: Andromeda and Dragon Age Inquisition.
Mass Effect 4 should just make Mass Effect 1 but better with current tech. Fans would be happy. As far as romance, they should take notes from the Witcher and Cyberpunk.
Later Bioware games have to little build up. You can have a normal conversation and all of a sudden BAM! The character you talk to becomes super flirty.
Reminds me of Baldur’s Gate. I wanted to practice some magic and Gale made it super weird. Not even gonna mention Astarion.

other than that, i found every character to be very annoying.

One of the best things about the Mas Effect series is the companions you meet along the way. So here is a tier list of all the companions from Mass Effect!
To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.
some in andromeda are decent, I agree with peebee and Vetra being good companions. Except Liam he's trash tier

BioWare thinks Mass Effect: Andromeda was a better game than what reception suggested; taught the studio not to shoehorn open-world without any meaningful content in it.
I played it and it wasn't as bad as people said. Is it in the 8-10 range? No.
It's a 6-7, which means it's a solid game.
Veilguard and Andromeda are of similar level to me.

I agree with you It was a 6.5 type game. Gameplay was solid everything else was lacking. Playing at launch with all the issues was just absurd. EA could have let the developers keep patching and fix the game but they stopped just like they did with anthem. It’s crazy to think multi billion dollar publishers can’t afford to keeping patching their games get medium size developers can support the game for years

Except 6-7 doesn't translate as solid. 6 means a bit flimsy, but still good/enjoyable if you can look past the flaws. 7, a little less flimsy, and enjoyable. 8-10 would be "solid".
But I get your point. I skipped the game entirely, so I don't have an opinion on it.
I played this game back when I wanted to give every game I bought a fair chance and finish it, it was the reason why I stopped doing so, god the game was bad
I actually enjoyed Andromeda. It wasn't a 10/10, by any means, but I played it years after the fact, after a lot of patching, and I had a good time with it.
I liked it as well, and also played it for the first time over a year after it was released. The original trilogy was a better story overall IMO but I still enjoyed Andromeda.

Lol. Its one of the only games that I have experienced buyers remorse with. The only one I can think of is riders Republic.
So delusional, the title was an embarrassment to the original trilogy. it’s the equivalent of 2042 to the battlefield franchise.
My analysis is - it gave me goose bumps and I can't wait for holiday 2016.

That analysis is a bit lacking and more like a play-by-play description of what happens in the trailer.
1. There's a Repear-like sound in the background when those structures rise out of the ground.
2. One of your squad mates running with you into battle is KKRRROOAAGGAAAN!
Personally, I feel like the music ruined the trailer for me -- Johnny Cash when you're expecting some original Mass Effect themed music or least some kick-ass Two Steps from Hell track. Even after the music was done, it put me in a foul mood so it was difficult to enjoy the rest of it.
Also, intergalactic travel is very cheesy and makes me worried about the story writing. Our own galaxy is big enough to explore a lot more, plus, how far ahead in the future must this game be set that we have the technology to allow us to travel to Andromeda?
