I think they patched it, but K2 was one of mine b/c of the fight with Radek on elite! Insanely hard!

Aside from the chalice dungeons it's actually not that hard. Souls games platinums aren't actually that difficult really.

Platinum wasn't too hard, but it wasn't easy either due to the Chalice quest. Still haven't played the dlc. Want to buy the complete edition and play it from the start, w/ the addition of all the new weapons of which many should have been in the base game.

Epic game and they are one of two devs that are currently working on my next favorite game. Can't wait to see what it is. Wouldn't mind a BB follow up though!

I still can't understand how there's not one Trophy with a 100% attained rate, especially when there are games that give them to you just for starting up the game

Ratchet & Clank tutorial which only takes likes 2 minutes only has 97%, I just platinumed the game yesterday after finally getting the Death by Disco trophy on my 4th playthrough. Only 6% have gotten it.

Games install their trophy list before they start. Probably not everyone actually actually starts up past the menu where it pops the trophy. Weird, but it happens I suppose.

I understand its cool for gamers who like it but I hate the attitude of some people digging into others trophies and try to deride others. I even saw that happen for journalists trying to deride gamers who were giving their opinions.

Demon Souls and BloodBorne Platinum Trophy or GTA 5 Platinum Trophy show's me lots of people doesn't have a job and that's why they can giving lots of time for really difficult games like those. :D And also better gamer then me. I just thinking that kind of things :)

I literally stopped chasing trophies after I had platinumed demon souls, it took me forever to farm 1 pure bladestone, I realised those 30 hours or so could have gone to completing a game .and funny enough a second pure bladestone dropped 10mins later and I was like screw you game

it also shows how many people bought the game used. I remember the devs behind Heavy Rain indicated that they had 2 million games sold, but 3 million people popped trophies. I.E. 1 million of the 3 million who popped trophies bought the game used. I thought that was interesting.

I enjoy(ed) platinum trophies and still enjoy getting them (earned about 6 or so this year) but I don't like games that push the envelope with playthroughs or save manipulation. UC4 was great but I don't want to play the game 3 times minimum (normal, crushing, quick play). That game is the only UC game I don't have the plat for yet and I don't ever know if I have the 10+ hours to go back to pick up collectibles, etc.

Not necessarily. people could have loaned their copy to a friend, sibilings in the same house hold might have played it, people who had to create a new account, review copies.
I'm sure used copies are the overwhelming majority, but there's a big chunk of that 1 million that wasn't due to buying a used copy.

I am sure that happened... I guess I never share my games or borrow games from people so I don't think about doing that.

With the PS4, it's safe to say that I only buy games I think I have a reasonable chance at Platinuming. So far of the 11 games I own (10 retail, 1 digital), I Platinumed 8 of them. My hardest Platinum trophy has to be RE Revelations 2. Namely beating Invisible mode.
