Think about it people. The GAME is already available for pre order from Bethesda's own store. It will be out this year. There is also rumors that MS will announce a Fallout 4/xb1 bundle at Gamescom, so a September or October release is likely the case.

I think it will be this year too. Mostly because its been in development for over 3 years. I'm still expecting they drop a Fallout 3 remaster in August or September to build hype even more.

Those reasons don't really explain why it will come out this year.

Reason 1....fallout 3 was announced in 2007, released in 2008. It was a short time frame prior to release, about a year and a half. I get they don't want to drag it out for years and years and many E3s...but to be fair...they didn't with Fallout 3.

2. Fallout 4 to be honest is not really known just how long its been actually worked on, we can speculate but what if it takes them another year? So we really don't know that and the Fallout team is the team that did ES IV...AND Skyrim..they are 1 team.

I would say 3 years is fair to say its been in development.

3. ...well neither did ES and Fallout last gen, they didn't just have PS2 or XB versions lol, so I'm not sure why that means this year. It just means shorter IF it was the case, but not shorter overall thus this year. In fact, what if they got another team to do the lessor versions ie Tomb Raider and Titanfall or Forza Horizon 2?

I want it to release this fall, but that is pretty unlikely, even with me being a hardcore fallout fan.

We could see it this fall and that would be crazy, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Im just glad the exclusive rumors were false. A bundle should be good for xb1 sales though. I just hope the dlc timed exclusivity is only a month.

I think we'll see it this year, just in time for the holiday season. If not, probably spring at the latest. We'll see.

At best I would say Holiday 2016, however if they have been working on it for at least 3 years than a 2015 release is possible since Bethesda puts quality first over attention.

Bring back freedom with magic (even if exploitable it's fun). Bring back utterly bizarre and memorable characters (starfield felt like theirs were designed by a committee of wet blankets). Bring back actual consequential player choice ie different classes and guilds/houses/etc that can't all be done in the one playthrough. And update or replace that damn engine for more seamless streaming/traversal so dungeons, towns and buildings aren't segmented separate levels. And for the love of god don't dare do that shitty dialog wheel and voiced player again

First of all, they should replace Todd Howard for that to happen.

Starfield could have become an (Xbox) megaseller and critically acclaimed milestone in the Sci-Fi genre.

I would have never let them work with CreationEngine 2 for that, but scrapped it completely.

the Fallout 4 Anniversary edition is a JOKE.. way too expensive.. and its broken.. Bethesda is a joke now..
