Xbox One at the front again... just saying this is a clue just like AC:Syndicate with PS4 being at the front that MS might have secured some exclusive dlc or something of that sorts with Fallout 4 which will be big for MS, definitely prefer a game like Fallout 4 over Black Ops 3

Edit: I'm not slamming any other consoles or pc I'm just saying the fallout: new vegas trailer had xbox first and xbox got exclusive dlc first... anywhere you play this game will be awesome for all platforms

In a world where the Witcher 3 is being critique for not looking as good as its first reveal trailer, well done to Bethesda for setting our graphics expectations at the right level before the game is released.

This looks absolutely astounding, the colors and the atmosphere look fantastic.

Can't wait to dive into this, it's gonna eat up ALL of my free time!

First of all, thank you Bethesda for showing us an HONEST trailer of what the actual game engine looks like and not a bunch of CGI and bullshot footage!

Second, I happen to think the game looks very good, certainly for a large open-world RPG.

Third, for those of you complaining about the graphics, you have no clue how early this build is. This game may not even come out unti late 2016/early 2017. That would give Bethesda more than enough time to polish it even further. But even as it stands right now, there's absolutely nothing wrong with those visuals. What did you expect? Pixar level CGI?

Meh. But I didn't ike fallout 3 or New Vegas so it's pretty much how I was expecting to feel

The graphics DO look very dated (and I'm of the belief that graphics are an important part of an immersive experience) but then I remind myself that I only bought Fallout 3 because all I read was hype and praise about it and, not being as deep into gaming as I would get and not knowing the studios past games or anything, all I saw in video clips was a horrendously dated looking game with awful animations. It was honestly only curiosity that made me buy Fallout 3 because I just had to know why this unimpressive looking game was being praised so much. After buying it and playing it almost instantly became my second favourite game ever made.

I love everything else about this trailer. I love that the setting is closer to the grim atmosphere of Fallout 3 than the zany sunshine setting of New Vegas. I love that the trailer kept it classy and wasn't all dubstep and exploding robots. I can easily handle the dated graphics, but only if it's a sign that they've built a huge expansive experience that could never run with up to date graphics and not just a sign of laziness. I guess as of now I'm cautiously optimistic and waiting to find out more.

Will be an amazing game no doubt. Just wanted the graphics to be better you know, maybe some fur on the dog etc..

I mean its like what? 7 years since fallout 3 and it looks like the same engine with better colors and a few updates... The physics or movement of the dog etc looks like a 2008 game....

Will get it and it will be amazing, but I expected a bit more in terms of graphics and physics.. Maybe the consoles just cant handle it, or Devs did not want to create a new engine. Did you guys see Mad Max - also open world. Looks amazing visually. Oh and Withcer 3 ofcourse!!

I just hope the next Red Dead Redemption will be on a new engine with amazing graphics! And next GTA

I can't believe some of the comments I'm reading about the graphics. Cartoony? PS3 at best? I will admit some of the character animations, when they go back to the 50s, do look a little stiff...and some of the characters from the 50s look cartoony, but everything else is great. I'm sure the footage we saw was alpha/beta and not final. Perhaps you guys should watch the trailer a few more times in 1080p.

This is great,I hope it comes out this year. Some people are complaining about the graphics, but Fallout has bever been about the graphics imo, they were never great but good enough. Its the scope of the game, setting , combat , story, PipBoy , followers etc. Some people want perfection in all things and will be disappointed 100% of the time because nothing is perfect.

This is one of the best trailers I've seen in a long time. I didn't feel like they were going out of their way to try to sell us something. They just showed us what they have without any CGI or other illusions.

I'm not looking forward to months of articles and comments complaining about the graphics (which to me look great), but I am really looking forward to this game.

If this game is OFFLINE and should be BIG, like bigger than Witcher 3, then I'll be buying a PS4(my next gen console of choice)when Fallout 4 releases.

Already know it will have DLC, ok whatever I'll live but better not be any DRM, that's one "D" I won't tolerate beings Fallout series is a "single player" experience.

I'm betting this will drop in the fall/winter of this year, be surprised if it didn't. If all goes well and there isn't any unfortunate surprises I will finally be joining the PS4 fandom. Yes!!

Graphics isn't everything but damn, this looks like it could be played on a ps2.

I don't see where the graphics are a problem, its looks pretty good to me, and also for all we know what we saw may be in its early stages and may improve over time, I'm sure that is not a final build.

To the people complaining about the graphics, remember that what makes Fallout so great is the content of the story, it's just so rich.

I hope everyone knows by now that the end game will look close but not quite as good as the trailer. Let's try and avoid downgradegate for every game released this gen.

I hope other developers take notice how excited everyone is for this game from that trailer and these graphics. Don't show us amazing graphics and then downgrade them.

If i remember correctly skyrim came out the same year it was announced. I believe the same will happen with fallout 4. I think we'll be playing it this holiday season. I hope so. Also hope TES6 will be next year.....one can dream cant he.

Bring back freedom with magic (even if exploitable it's fun). Bring back utterly bizarre and memorable characters (starfield felt like theirs were designed by a committee of wet blankets). Bring back actual consequential player choice ie different classes and guilds/houses/etc that can't all be done in the one playthrough. And update or replace that damn engine for more seamless streaming/traversal so dungeons, towns and buildings aren't segmented separate levels. And for the love of god don't dare do that shitty dialog wheel and voiced player again

Starfield could have become an (Xbox) megaseller and critically acclaimed milestone in the Sci-Fi genre.

I would have never let them work with CreationEngine 2 for that, but scrapped it completely.

the Fallout 4 Anniversary edition is a JOKE.. way too expensive.. and its broken.. Bethesda is a joke now..
