Not really hyped for Ubisoft games in the near future... unless they have a unexpected surprise game at E3.

The game I want from Ubisoft is Beyond Good and Evil 2, unfortunately I don't think it will be present at E3 2015.

BiggCMan3916d ago

Watch Dogs was one of my favorite games last year so I would just like to see the sequel be announced this year. That would make me really happy. Otherwise, I would like to see more of The Division cuz that looks very interesting. That's about all from them I would like to see. But obviously we will see Assassin's Creed Syndicate and other stuff.

GreetingsfromCanada3916d ago

You shouldn't have mentioned watch dogs and like in the same sentence.

BiggCMan3916d ago

Well that's too bad. I'm not afraid of admitting what I like if it's something that's hated by most people. Why do I care what others think? I enjoy what I enjoy and if people don't like that, get a life.

Yea watchdogs is one of the games that s 'cool' to hate on the Internet but it was very enjoyable IMO
The Division is the one I'm looking forwards to from Ubi and not getting influence by the negative 'noise' on the Internet

WellyUK3916d ago

it wasn't the best game ever but it was by no means a terrible game like everyone seems to say it is.

The new Assassin Creed game looks like Unity but reskined....

Give the franchise a rest and work on something new then come back to it!

Instead of having 1000+ working on one game( Yes, not exaggerating, Ubisoft have had this amount of people developing a game during certain periods)
Have teams of 200 working on separate projects so you have good quality and many IP's. They would have a longer dev cycle so they cant shit out a yearly release but they will have more games in the long run coming out.

PhucSeeker3915d ago (Edited 3915d ago )

I think it was all the marketing department's fault. They hyped only AC game => other awesome games (like SC Blacklist and Rayman Legends) didn't get advertised much => they bit the dust => Ubi decided on focusing on AC game.

It's a vicious cycle, really !

scark923916d ago

It would be made to satisfied SJW's nowadays I reckon rather than the fans!

dancerOfDeath3916d ago

I am keeping an eye on Ubi, as they are inevitably going to explode with a flurry of excellent tactical shooters over the next couple years. The Division, Rainbow Six and Splinter Cell will all undoubtedly be fantastic games. This gen doesn't start without Tom Clancy games on the scene, IMO.

Keeping an eye out for Tom Clancy, a new Farcry(though its too soon, now). Really enjoying Airmech Arena at the moment.

Just give me tactical shooters, damn it!

iSuperSaiyanGod3916d ago

Far cry 4 was great ! I loved it lol even unity is good now . Idk why people don't like it , I picked it up last week & it's working fine now , haven't seen any problems besides the chest issue (have to stand right in front of it) the game seems huge & packed w so much stuff to do it's kinda over whelming lol

oasdada3916d ago

Exactly.. dont feel even a little bit hyped for anything ubi cud possibly put up.. on the contrary im worried if they do bring beyond good and evil 2 i hope they dont screw that up too

The return of Splinter Cell Chaos Theory level

fdkenzo3916d ago

A new Prince of Persia would be great !!!

ThichQuangDuck3916d ago

It would but the way they are pumping out creed it seems it is not going to happen, but there was that concept art

billybonez3916d ago

Gonna be game of the year man cant wait to play it.

dreamed3916d ago (Edited 3916d ago )

Oh yes!! To chaos theory

ScorpiusX3916d ago

They will all found a home on my console in digital format. Can't wait to see what else is new.

Mikefizzled3916d ago

Sega have more of a booth in this trailer than they will at this E3 :P

xHeavYx3916d ago

So, according to the trailer they will only show 3 games and Aisha Tyler will try to be funny?

Nwah3916d ago

I hate every moment of Ubisoft's E3 conferences with her. She makes me physically cringe so bad that I consider just skipping the Ubi conference.

WickedLester3916d ago

She wouldn't be so bad if she didn't let the trash fall from her mouth like she's hosting late night Comedy Central.

Analysts on Ubisoft cost-cutting and the myth of 'sustainable growth'

'The economy is in shambles and these companies are still talking about sustaining growth instead of sustaining their business.'

They should just make games. That sounds crazy, I know, but, hear me out.

No need for dev-times to.take 3+ years. Just stick to formula. Not every game needs to be bigger & better than everything else. Not every game needs to be GaaS. Not every game needs to completely re-invent the wheel.

They KNOW how to make a cool Splinter Cell game; Interesting story, 8-10 levels, just go and make it. Give the people want they know, want and love. It doesn't need to be a shared online experience. It doesn't need to be an epic big open world. It doesn't need celebrity voice-acting. Just make a cool new SC game, and the fans will be happy and pick it up. Easy. Done. Next one.

Same for Prince of Persia, Watch-Dogs, Assassin's Creed, Trials, Rayman, Brothers in Arms, etc.

It was the Switch 2 version that drove the sales.

MayorPauline7d ago

Makes sense as it released on the Switch 2 within the time frame Ubisoft listed up above. It didnt just jump up for nothing. Not sure why people disagree with you but I have two pretty good guesses as to why. 😆

Gamersunite8806d ago

I know. I'm just telling the truth. Lol

PRIMORDUS7d ago

Same shit year after year. Ubishit just leave the industry.

Financial growth creates more and more layoffs. I always forget about that one

mastershredder6d ago (Edited 6d ago )

Riiiight. Let’s pretend that Assassins creed Shadows was a major success (rinse repeat different setting, same assassins creed stuff with bs “new” features) . The game has been practically half off since release.
All their number are from the holiday sales, and Shadows is selling well under what they expected to sell it for. Let’s recap: The second expansion was scrapped, as was the season pass, the co-op was canceled (seriously guys wtf?) and any dlc was downsized in scale effort (Attack on Titan, did not help either, just say’n). This was all a result of recent poor reception/performance in sales and Ubisoft literally downsized, restructured production because of it. If this is success, they are going to have big problems next quarter.

Don’t believe the hype.
