
VRFocus - This week's Google I/O developer conference in San Francisco, California, USA has proved to be an eventful one for virtual reality (VR) technology. The company has greatly expanded on the Google Cardboard mobile head-mounted display (HMD) that it introduced last year with a new version the accommodates larger phones and new support for the iOS operating system (OS). It's also announced the Google Jump VR video concept and Google Expeditions educational initiative. But the company isn't done there; it's today released Google Design Lab.

These new paid games, game trials and “buy once, play anywhere” pricing are coming to Play.

And, no, making video games with it is not the goal.
