Powerstone Inspired Brawler Combat Core Returns

Marcus Estrada writes: "Nearly one year ago we covered a 4-player multiplayer arena fighting game launched on Kickstarter. It went by the name of Combat Core and showed some promise, but failed to get anywhere near its funding goal. Here we are, a year later and Combat Core has returned! Development did not stop in between the campaigns as now the game being displayed looks far fancier, with an overall level of polish that was missing beforehand. Now instead of looking like an unassuming multiplayer brawler, it now looks like a brand new Dreamcast game (and I mean this in the most loving way possible!)."

I hope the game succeeds and I hope they seriously reconsider their stance on no ps4 release

That little demo in the article has me sold!

ZeekQuattro3759d ago

Never heard of it but I'm sold. Makes me think of Custom Robo with those mini arenas.

Definitely will support this day one. It's pretty awesome!

Powerstone inspired, nuff said, Day 1 for me. I don't know why these brawlers haven't made the jump. It seems the last time I played a good brawler fighting game was Urban Reign on PS2 with multi tap 4 playera action. Great times.

urban reign, never played that one. Is it as fun as the powerstone series?

What Kickstarter Video Game Campaigns Launched May 17 - 23?

Greg Micek writes: "Every week we take a brief look at all of the Kickstarter campaigns that launched in the previous week. This isn't to say that all of these projects are worth your hard earned cash, but with any luck having all of them in one place will make it easier to educate yourself on the projects you'd like to back, and which ones to run from. This week there were 26 to choose from."
