A while ago, Reddit user shinyquagsire23 claimed to have found evidence of Roy, of Fire Emblem, and Ryu, of Street Fighter, making an appearance in the latest Super Smash Bros. iteration. Since then, many others have confirmed his findings. There’s still the possibility that these findings were just junk files from scrapped ideas, but the reasoning behind why the two fighters would be chosen for Smash is easy to see.

All 21 Classic Games are playable for a limited time 🎮

The rejection is non-final (and even when such rejections are labeled as “final”, the process is far from over, given that there can be, at minimum, an appeal to the Federal Circuit).
Good, as they should! A game mechanic like that shouldn't be locked behind a patent, and Nintendo didn't invent it either.
Nintendo wants to keep wasting money on bullshit lawsuits, real smart in this economy. They should put that money aside for other game projects. On the other hand, I don't care if they waste it all either, and they are screwed in the future maybe that will teach them a lesson.

But... but... the garbage-mongers always tell us that Square Enix is in trouble! 😂
Capcom VS Nintendo would be awesome!!! Amaterasu VS Duck Hunt Dog, Viewtiful Joe VS Wonder Red, MegaMan VS Mario, X VS Samus, Ryu VS Little Mac, Strider VS Link, Monster Hunter VS Shulk, Arthur VS Isaac, Edward Falcon VS Captain Falcon... It just doesn't stop...
That's awesome!
That would be the best thing in Fighting games in a long time and along with Pokken and SSBWU would cement Nintendo at the top along Sony. M$ would need to find another game, KI wouldn't be enough.
Nope. Because it would be likely that Capcom would develop and I don't see Nintendo letting their characters be made by Capcom. I don't really see that happening.
Next to MK vs Street Fighter this would easily be the next coolest crossover
