
Chrono Trigger is not exactly a new title. The game was first released for the SNES way back in 1995 and quickly became of the system's best titles as well as one of Square's (the developer) signature games.
With seven playable characters and following the role-playing gameplay elements that were somewhat standard at the time, Chrono Trigger followed the exploits of the titular character as he wandered through the world of 1000 A.D. with his companions, and armed with a katana. The game had a somewhat complex plot that involved traveling in time and consequences for actions.

Unannounced Chrono Trigger Formism figures were spotted at a 30th Anniversary concert, fueling renewed speculation following Square Enix’s earlier anniversary plans.

Yasunori Mitsuda is a talented composer I love the music both from Chrono Trigger, Xenogears. I will always enjoy Nobuo Uematsu as well. I would love to have seen the Chrono Trigger concert live.

Chrono Trigger’s 30th anniversary will be celebrated with a full orchestra concert in Tokyo on January 17–18, 2026.
Can you announce a Chrono Trigger remaster or something and stop pretending you don't have millions of people that would buy it day 1? Morons.
3 more years and Xenogears will be 30. I would love to see Chrono Trigger get the FFVII treatment.
