Playtonic writes on kickstarter:
The limited edition ’64-bit’ package has been one of Yooka-Laylee’s most sort after backer rewards, with all packages currently sold out and a man, somewhere, frantically attempting to source 500 mint 90s cartridges.
.
The retro-themed package comes complete with classic box, signed manual, digital copy of the game, CD soundtrack, art book and of course the aforementioned physical game thing with built-in flash drive. There’s another exciting detail we can’t reveal just yet.

Playtonic is a developer made up of a bunch of former RARE devs, and the first title they worked on was the 3D platformer, Yooka-Laylee. Those who followed RARE over the years definitely saw the DNA of Banjo-Kazooie in Yooka-Laylee, but it turns out the original plan was even deeper than that.
Wouldn’t they be exclusive to the Xbox One version just like they were exclusive to the Xbox 360 versions of Sega All Stars Racing
Although since Banjo-Kazooie skins were available in every version of Minecraft, it could’ve been possible for the same to apply for Yookah-Laylee

The PS4 has a killer roster of incredible platformers. Ranging from simple 2D platformers to vibrant 3D platforming games.
No mention of Astrobot on the VR, one of the best platform titles Sony have put out

Limited Run Games has announced Mutant Mudds and Yooka-Laylee tabletop games, both of which are available for pre-order until early September 2021.
This is something I really need. N64 was a console in which I have great memories.
That's really awesome for the collection.
I wish Naughty Dog and Insomniac would make spiritual successors like this to both Crash and Spyro, and even package it like a classic PS1 game with manual and cover art.
It's nice that they are making a Banjo Kazooie type platformer, but from what I've seen I don't think it looks very promising. Hope they prove me wrong.
I wish people would make games for old systems more often. Nintendo, Sony, and Sega should all release some Saturn, N64, and PS1 games some time as a throwback.
