I'm confused why is it that the ps4 is the only one being compared to pcs now this happened with drive club vs project cars(pc version) as well shouldn't it be ps4vsxbox one?? Pretty obvious pc is always going to look better it isn't a console

if pc and ps4 are the same when dx12 comes and games are just as or almost as optimized as consoles; devs will be clearly exposed for holding back pc.

r9 390x has hbm and 640gb/s this year and hmb2 next year 1tb+/s.

if dx12 games and next gpus = games that looks same as ps4 then I will throw up.

ps4 is up to 140gb/s bandwidth.

Well, at least they justified why, with a proper justification that neither version were representative of the final release on either platform.

We know PC has the best graphics and must be the PC fanboys that upload videos of comparison. And for those saying PC games are cheap they are but the answer why is because of pirating. If a game come out by this week by the next their already must be a pirated copy. If no one is buying them the price goes down.

I understand developers playing to the lowest common denominator. But they couldn't just add a few perks graphically for the pc? At least better than what I've seen??

I think deep down the console folk know why it was removed.

This is getting old, why can't game developers just use the full power of the PC then port it over to consoles like the old days. Is Microsoft and Sony paying, threatening, or holding game developers from doing so.

ps4 is $400

minimum spec pc to play witcher 3 would easily cost you $700

$500 if you don't want to include the price HDD,CASING and POWER SUPPLY.

To be fair, CD Projekt are much more stand up guys than Ubisoft will ever be. But that doesn't excuse them at the times where they pull some BS themselves.

What many PC gamers fail to realise is some of us who work in IT (and actually know something about it - simply building a gaming rig dosnt count btw) cant be bothered spending their evenings in front of a PC - its too much like what we do for a living. Why not just accept some of us CHOOSE to game on consoles - end of.

I hope the community's reaction will set things straight now onward. it's a shame that among all the other companies with relatively tainted reputations it's CDPR that now holds the bad example even though they are well known to be one of the most gamer friendly companies today.

From this moment henceforth, Xbox hardware shall simply just exist but have no significant bearing from a business standpoint or from a gamer culture standpoint. It will simply be there for the people that want to have it and that's fine if they're selling it at a high price and actually making money off each sale.

But they should never ever again be Xbox fanboys anymore than they should be Lenovo laptop fanboys it's just a piece of hardware that exists to serve a purpose for niche group of people.

I’ll say this. Cyberpunk had a tumultuous start on console. Even if it had sold like crazy, that whole almost unplayable fiasco and being given no questions asked refunds made a lot of people not look back.
When it comes to PC, people are a lot more forgiving of things like that, especially on Steam, because of the return policy. I really think console manufacturers should implement the exact same refund policy. Was it played under X time? Refund it. It makes people take that risk on games a LOT more than on console. Bought this game and it was broken? Refund it. They said they fixed it 3 months later? Buy it again. It’s fixed but just not fun? Refund it. On console you don’t have that luxury. Was it downloaded? GG. No refund. Lord knows my Steam library is full of “I’ll try it” games that I loved and I’m glad I can take a rush on. On console, specifically PlayStation because I’m not buying Xbox games, I take calculated risk. Known developers. Shinobi, Ninja Gaiden ragebound, stuff like that. Obviously big exclusives and games too. I would have never tried Little Bookstore on PlayStation, but on Steam… why not? Hellish Quart? Why not. Buckshot Roulette? Why not.

this is why console sales matter, folks.
