So what exactly IS in this game?

Aloy-Boyfriend4034d ago (Edited 4034d ago )

Another Cocky Doody Reskin by EA with less content than the previous game.

700p4034d ago

I mean dice is developing so how come we cant blame the developers instead of always blaming the publisher. lol

Allsystemgamer4034d ago

@700p

Because the publisher dictates what goes into the game because EA funds the project

nicksetzer14034d ago

No classes is weird but no squads? This game is about temawork and winning what are essentially giant battles. Removing squads removes the idea of teamwork and will result in a terrible culmination of one man teams.

Just lost a lot of hope in this game.

Meesa thinks we in trouble.

By "“freely pick their weapons and gear" I'm guessing they most likely mean pick any weapon for your loadout, pick your mod and pick your abilities or whatever. In the end it's going to make people rely on what powerful weapons/gear they've unlocked rather then actual skill. A problem which we find in most online games today

What they are trying to sugar coat sounds like what we have seen in almost every other multiplayer such as COD.

There was a system already in place for this franchise...why change it. Like I've said they would have been better off making a new Star Wars IP because it's become apparent this is not Battlefront.

Summons754034d ago

They are clearly trying as hard as they can to tell haters like you that this is NOT Battlefield so don't expect it. This is a reboot and remake of Battlefront.

Wii_nes_0074034d ago

I see no hate here, just opinions.

SilentNegotiator4034d ago (Edited 4034d ago )

Calling it a reboot - FFS, it's a massive multiplayer shooter with a pre-established background story...how do you "reboot" that? - does not excuse cutting so many corners and changing basic features of the series.

ironfist924034d ago

Just a cash in on the franchise and movie. Nothing more.

loopygames4034d ago

Don't forget EA has a 10 year deal with Disney to make Star Wars games. They already have Visceral Games and Bioware working on separate Star Wars projects in addition to DICE with Battlefront 3. DICE is probably cutting some stuff out of Battlefront 3 so EA can hype up future projects made by the other 2 studios. DICE didn't even bother using a new frostbite engine for Battlefront 3, it is still using frostbite 3 from BF4 which is 2 years old.

alvgamin4lif4034d ago

What else? Microtransactions, missing features as dlc and a $50 premium.

Battleflop? Hopefully not, but time will tell.

Blackleg-sanji4034d ago

Unfortunately whether it sucks or not with the star wars name attached it will far from flop

Perjoss4034d ago

I'm glad they are not ripping features directly from Battfield.

Battlefront will be great, Mirrors Edge was great and so are all the Battlefield games, DICE are a very talented bunch and I cant wait to play this later in the year.

CorndogBurglar4034d ago (Edited 4034d ago )

Yeah. Hahaha. Said no one.

Oh....wait....

Battlefield is one of the most popular shooters in the industry. It has a gigantic following.

I guess people have said that then, huh?

Its one thing to have an opinion. There's nothing wrong with that. But making comments like that just make you look like a blind hater that doesn't care about the facts.

Guess what? I don't like CoD. But i would never be so ignorant as to pretend it doesn't have a huge following, is insanely popular, and has literally millions of fans that love it.

GrmpyolGamer 4034d ago

No campaign and no Space combat means I wont be picking this one up.
