wow, I wish I could replay the Mass Effect series and Gears of War series for the first time, I think I'd make different decisions than the ones I made and the stories, to relive the stories again would be awesome!

nick47614052d ago

Mass Effect 2 would definitely be up there for me. KOTOR, The Last of Us, Final Fantasy X are some others.

FrostbiteGhost4052d ago

Suffering: Ties that Bind would be fun to wipe from my memory and replay

WolfLeBlack4052d ago

Mass Effect 2 would be right up there.

I'd love to experience Total Annihilation again for the first time, but with the deeper appreciation and understanding I now have of games. It's one of my favorite games of all time, and to be able to play it for the first time again would be great.

The original Gears of War would be on the list, along with Monkey Island. Oblivion, too. There's so many, really.

lilmisscherry4052d ago

Bioshock would be a good one, seeing the big daddy and rapture and being amazed.

OhMyGandhi4052d ago

For me, last generation can best be summed up by that game. One of the most inventive, breath takingly original and utterly creative worlds I've ever seen. For the longest time, it made me crave art deco and that old, record-scratching classic music.

I'd follow that up with Mass Effect, The first Half Life, Metroid Prime 1, Shadow of the Colossus, and Ocarina of Time.

Mass Effect - N7 DAY 2025

Bioware writes: "Like you, we’ve heard the rumors lately. You’ve made it clear you care deeply about what’s next. So let’s start by setting the record straight: the next Mass Effect game is in development, and EA and BioWare remain committed to telling more stories in this universe."

I expected nothing and I'm still disappointed

Like with Fallout, it's starting to feel studios are using TV / Film adaptations when they have no game info to talk about.

toxic-inferno214d ago

I feel the same way.

I mean, how difficult would it be for them to release SOMETHING of substance? Another short trailer? A couple of proper hints? A short story set during the original trilogy, but focused on fringe characters?

Hopefully they're working so hard on the game that they don't have time. But still, with every passing year and so little to show, the franchise will be slipping further and further from people's minds.

Profchaos213d ago

Yeah agree it's almost a cop out since Dev times are 5 to 10 years just throw out a few seasons instead you get them done in a year

jznrpg214d ago

I still haven’t beat Andromeda. I am waiting for a lull of good games in my backlog

P_Bomb214d ago

So the TV show will take place after the OG trilogy. I wonder which ending they’ll use?

Rebel_Scum213d ago

Should’ve just posted a picture of an Elcor saying “regretfully, we have nothing to share.”

EA Cut Dead Space's Marketing Budget to Pour Into Mirror's Edge Due to Mock Review Scores

Former Visceral Games devs reveal Dead Space's marketing budget was cut in favor of Mirror's Edge because of mock review scores.

I wish EA would just release a DS2 remake. DS is my favorite horror game and DS2 is the best one in the franchise. But because DS1 failed to meet certain numbers EA scrapped the DS2 remake. SH2 remake was great rumors are Konami might be asking for another SH remake. The RE2 remake was great EA just needs to give it another try. But all they seem to do is shitty sports games that are no different from the year before. Change a few players, add different uniform colours, maybe change a team logo. Wash, rinse, repeat.

goken529d ago

Agreed. DS was great. But DS2 was even better. Would love to see a DS2 remake, though I would love to see a DS4 even more.
The problem with EA is they make easy $ from the slight changes to their sports titles like football FC games (whatever it’s called nowadays). People just lap that sh1t up.
Comparatively, games like DS which don’t sell 10s of millions, can’t sell them team player add ons and all the like, would seem a hassle to make and unappealing comparatively. Especially when you consider that most EA non sport titles haven’t actually performed well recently.

Dark Souls 2, Darksiders 2, Dead Space 2, Death Stranding 2, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2

chicken_in_the_corn529d ago

The Dead space remake was so good. Better than the original. Shame they won't remake 2.

__y2jb529d ago

I loved the original dead space but the remake I just found boring. Game design has moved on and the game really showed its age, just small area encounters repeated again and again.

I bought Dead Space during launch window and I never bought a Mirror's Edge game .

Inverno529d ago

Then they went on to screw both games over.

UnbreakableAlex529d ago

I'd rather see a new and great Mirrors Edge than another boring Dead Space.

Hopefully McNamara is as far away from this as possible he set up shop in Australia then did nothing but complain about Australian labour laws while trying to make his workers live at the office working 24/7 on la noire punishing them for leaving at 3 am and being 10 minutes late to work at 9am the next day.

It's astonishing that none of the workers went to the fair work ombudsman as the studio would have been fined astronomical numbers

porkChop702d ago

Brendan McNamara is a brilliant writer and director but he should never, ever be in charge of a studio. What he did to those devs was far beyond "crunch", and it went on for, what, 7 years? That's insane.

But I'm glad to see some of that team have come together again to create something new. A psychological thriller sounds right up my alley.

anast702d ago

I would have liked to see a new noir game.

Demetrius702d ago

I been enjoying LA noire my first time playing it the vibe is🔥
