If it stays like this right now, as in only ea is doing then its fine, if other companies start to follow they will do things for these serveices to compete, and its only $30.
e.g. ea is offering 6hrs early access to all xbox subs, then activision might come in and say they offer 24hrs, then ubisoft will say a week. And so on.

okay so first of all it is only worth it to a gamer if you enjoy a good selection of EA games from 6 to 12 months prior. if you do it really is fantastic for value.

I find it comical that the author tries to pass this question off as "is it worth $60 annually"?. the annual price for the subscription is $30 you can pay month to month but if you were considering the annual cost you would never pay month to month you obviously would pay for the $30 annual subscription. so when you are trying to consider its value it should be considered as is it worth $30 a year? and to me that is a resounding yes.

It's worth it,30 dollars for a year just for the vault games are worth it.

Ownership is what makes gamers go against these type of subscription for gamers. but i'm not that big on collection but if i could talk to 8 year old me i would tell him to save every toy,comic book and video game.

It's so worth having that am trying to see how many sub I can pay off. That's how much value it has and will continue to gain .

if it was available on PS4, i might consider the 4 quid a month sub.
though looking at the current line up of games on the service, probably not.

maybe if you like the ea sports games it'll be worth it.

Well its been worth the £19.99 I paid . So haters can hate I don't care .

If anything, it's MORE worth the money now, with more games in the vault than at launch. It was a pretty good value the day i bought it for $30. Traded in my BF4 copy for 15 dollars which covered half the cost of the annual price. I've gotten my moneys worth and then some. I guess it all boils down to preference though.

I'm not sure why some people are so against this service. Options are a good thing, right? Especially when a new option doesnt really impact your old options?

I love the service, I would never have tried Battlefield 4, Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare, Peggle 2, UFC or NBA Live 15. Now I'm a big fan of it all!
$30 a year, well worth it. I've managed to get a ton of Achievements and discounts. Oh, and playing full versions of games a week early and having my progress carry over is freaking SWEET!

My only complaint is it's not on enough platforms.
