Can somebody, somewhere make a game that's not a sequel, not cut to pieces so we can pay for every little bit of it in chunks, not a game that was made in the last 20 years, no remasters. Something original and fun.
Doesn't even have to be triple A.
Hell even these rouge-lite games are all starting to look the same.

PS4 and Xbox One are current gen, not next gen. Next gen would be PS5 and the next Xbox. Can't wait for THPS5 on current gen, my PS4.

I used to love THPS2. I played that thing forever. Since then though I prefer the Skate franchise. A Skate 4 would instantly be my most played game.

Hopefully they can reinvigorate the franchise and breathe new life into it. I mean, THPS 3 was literally one the greatest videogames ever made (not even hyperbole, I think mechanically and for fun factor, this is true). They actually had a golden run from THPS 2-4 really, all fantastic games of their time. If they could just some of that lightning in a bottle back... I think a lot of it had to do with how Neversoft really pioneered skateboarding games a genre, and obviously you can't reinvent the (skateboard) wheel.

Cross-gen does not bode well though, I must say.

As long as we can still get off our board like in underground 1 i will be happy. The first 4 tony hawks and underground were the best. I just really hope revert to manual is still there.

Loved the series, but it's difficult to be hyped again after the last THPS games. At least it's not a mobile game...

Was hoping it would be a new underground, I mean they already gave us more Pro Skater with Pro Skater HD. Oh well, hopefully the game looks better than the photos at launch.

This game should look a lot better. Was happy about this game when it was announced. Here's to hoping it's just really early footage and is going to improved a lot!

Lmao at the people complaining about the graphics, Tony hawk was never about great graphics. It was the gameplay. Also, they said projectiles for certain missions is all..this obviously won't be Call of Tony hawk duty.

And the ps4 and Xbox one are still relatively new, so expect cross platform iterations of games for a while yet and stop complaining that it's holding games back. Everything that happens to a game is the devs choice, or the publisher, so they'll cut any features that really can't be done on old consoles.

Really hope you can get off your board and walk around. That simple thing can add so much more to the game.

The graphics don't look super great, but as long as the game plays well and it's fun, I'll give it a shot. Who knows, this could be a great game.

I don't think the magic would ever be captured like it was in Pro Skater 2.

I dunno. THPS was fun. Nothing like zoning out and pulling of mad-sick combos. After a few entries of the same thing, there is not a whole lot I could really want from a THPS game, other than it NOT being an online mulitplayer game.

Honestly, I think the mantle has been passed onto Skate. The controls are just so much more fun. The only thing I don't like about Skate is the camera. If they made it possible to make the camera angle more THPS-like, I'd probably never play a THPS game again.

Those levels look pretty dull too compared to past games.

I'm so saddened by this.

What I'd really like to see is a next gen Skate or a next gen snowboarding game. This is a start in the right direction though.
