
Jack has somehow landed himself on the television series Death Watch, a futuristic game show where the contestants fight for their lives -- quite literally. If you win, you survive. And if you lose, well, it's probably because you've been butchered by some disturbed thug in front of millions of viewers. This is the premise for the ultra-violent MadWorld, showing for the second time at E3 2008 this week.
The latest demo was just as brief as the first, which IGN reported on only a couple of months ago, but it was also every bit as gruesome. Indeed, the unique black and white presentation that blankets the dirty subways and rundown city streets that Jack explores is usually drowned in a third color: blood red.
The motion-controlled maverick of a console that had everyone from age 9 to 99 swing a TV remote to bowl and painstakingly recreating themselves as Miis, had its share of hits, but even so, some titles didn’t quite get their due.

Beneath all the Smash and shovelware, the Wii really did have quite a few gems.
