Deep Silver and Yager Development have announced that Dead Island 2 has been delayed until 2016. It was scheduled to be released in "Spring 2015" at one point but as the season arrived without a firm release date something appeared to be wrong.
Now the industry knows what: the game wasn't up to the standards the developers and publisher set for themselves, at least that's according to a statement from the Dead Island 2 team, who say: "We have been looking at the game long and hard, and we have decided we didn't reach that goal we set out to achieve quite yet."

Award-winning adventures, cult classics and fan-favorite franchises discounted for a limited time.

On the heels of the 14th anniversary of Dead Island, developer Dambuster Studios and publisher Deep Silver have released the first apparent teaser for Dead Island 3, or at least some sort of Dead Island 2 follow-up, which is seemingly already in active development or pre-production.

The Epic Games Store has a AAA Freebie this week, and another to put a smile on your face.
Probably for the better since we already got Dying Light this year.
Even though they made dying light, isn't that IP part of WB Games?
Because the game was a turd in the current state, i mean no singleplayer campaign just mindless zombie slash with daily missions brought by developer daily.
Good, delays make better games.
