1UP saw six modes (Deadline, King, Evolved, Pacifism, Waves, and Sequence), but only Deadline and King were playable. Deadline is a standard game of Geometry Wars with a 5 minute time limit -- much like the demo of the first GeoWars Retro Evolved. King was the more interesting new mode -- on the playing field are multiple circles that serve as safety zones for your ship. You can fire from within these shields while enemies are kept at bay -- but as soon as you start shooting, the circle starts to shrink and you're forced to find a new zone. The rub is that you can't fire in the space between, so it's a quick race to safer ground while avoiding enemy contact.
This week's Achievement HUNT, brings you Jack vs. Ryan.
Jack and Ray go head to head in today's episode of HUNT!
SBG write:
The Best to Own Forever series isn’t about what’s great right now. It’s about what will be great in 10 years, even though there will be better-looking games and later sequels, and what will keep you pulling that dusty old console out of the closet every once in a while. This time, we pick the best of the heavily third-party-driven Xbox 360 library.
Dead Rising 1 <-- I still think it's the one game worth having a 360.
Edit: I thought it was gonna be exclusive games...
