IGN first heard about Bayonetta a few months ago when SEGA took part in announcing the newly formed development studio, Platinum Games. Although IGN were aware that the game would feature a powerful witch with some sweet handguns, the only details they were given came in the form of an elusive teaser trailer with almost no clear indication as to what was happening. Well here at this year's E3, IGN was given an eyes-on demo of the upcoming action game for the PS3 and 360. While the demonstration barely lasted five minutes, it gave IGN a pretty good taste of what to expect.

I could definitely see a Bayonetta/Dante game. Imagine them initially battling each other before eventually teaming up to take on the big baddies. Now, imagine what their child(ren) would be like.
Bayonetta and Dante I could see but even then with how their lore differs it's a hard sell. For the others...I just can't see it at all.

Bayonetta is a witch who enter contracts with demons for power and Dante is a demon, not really hard to connect.
They could even write in an alliance between the umbra witches and sparda.
On the surface yeah but the actual lore the two games have given us if you go into it...not so much.

Major is definitely one of my all time favourite anime characters so this is really sad
