The pesky hired armies are at it again. This time, they've targeted America. It's up to you and your ace flying skills to stop them and the pressure is on. After all, it's you that helped the corporation get so powerful before they had to go and attack your home country. That's the basic story for HAWX, Ubisoft's upcoming flight action title set in the Tom Clancy universe.
The simulation is light, the action is heavy, and the planes are fast. It's not due out until the first quarter of 2009, but IGN got into the cockpit at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo.
Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. was a series that showed promise, but after 2010's Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. 2, all we have is backwards compatibility.
I remember buying Hawx2 back on PS3 after Microsoft bought exclusivity of Ace Combat6.
So to fill that dog fighting space I bought Hawx2, a very basic game that only had a gimmick of evasion that was overused if I remember correctly. I never even finished the game and still own it and my super slim ps3 so who knows I might pop it in one day and see if I can feel the need, I he need for speed.
