The press conference video for E3 2008.
Digital Foundry : Evolution Studios' Motorstorm is one of the first, finest and most fondly remembered of launch titles for PlayStation 3. It's a release designed to answer the question posed by each new console generation: what makes a game 'next-gen'? With its robust physics engine and massive tracks, Motorstorm serves up a bold affirmative answer to this question, delivering an experience that could never have existed on prior console hardware. At the same time, the path to release was fraught with challenges that almost serve as a microcosm of the PlayStation 3 release situation itself. It was a success, however, with a trilogy of PS3 releases, plus PSP, Vita and even PS2 off-shoots.
After Driveclub and Onrush, the dev team will now contribute to and assist with the development of the upcoming NFS.
Never really got into it myself I remember getting it with ps3 and being a bit underwhelmed I preferred the RC version they did for vita 🙌🏻🤣

Great recommendations, I love all the games listed that I've played so far. Going a bit stir-crazy with the constant WFH during this time. Thanks!!

What happened with E3 this year. Sony they had a good conference but I really wasn't wowed with anyone this E3, especially Nintendo.
Sony beat us again, our confrence sucked b@lls.
Please M$ killed at this E3! They worked Sony......and wii....well wii is just wii.
Whilst this E3 was more about software and last year was about hardware, the biggest announcement must have been FF XIII coming to XBOX 360 for Microsoft and MAG for SONY - a new 256 online multiplayer game.
I must say the best keynote was from SONY. Jack Tretton is a great presenter, got everyone relaxed and showed off some great games coming this year - Resistance 2, Little Big Planet, Motorstorm 2 and next year Killzone 2, GOW III hopefully.
Whilst details on Home were sketchy, it will definitely be the launch pad to getting groups to play together seamlessly and socialize.
Microsoft on the otherhand was more of a mii-too! update, adding Avatars like Mii. One big news was Netflix partnership where Gold Live members get free streaming of 10,000 movies. Now I don't know if that is the whole library including new releases or an older one. The biggest sore point is still the RROD, I would not buy this console again because of that. I used to have one before it died, I replaced it through store warranty and then sold it. Until Microsoft can put out a consumer piece of hardware that is ready for primetime rather than rushed to market and let consumers beware, I will pass. Gears of War 2 did look good running on the Unreal engine.
Nintendo did little to impress, but then some folks would say it did not have to with an installed base of 25million. Still I would argue that they should have shown off something that the Mario and Zelda teams are working on, some short trailer was needed. Wii Music, Wii Sports Plus was not enough in my mind. Those were sort of ho hum. Nintendo is really pushing accessories this time around with another Wii remote add-on. After buying additional remotes, nunchuks and balance board, how much more do consumers need to buy ???! Still Nintendo did show GTA coming to DS and Call of Duty on Wii, which was good. But they really needed a Mario and Zelda trailer that could have topped Microsoft.
SONY in my opinion had the best keynote and had the best press reaction along with cool games.
