Will it be cross platform or console exclusive worlds?

GenuineGamer4053d ago

consoles and pc will have separate servers.

Alexious4053d ago

Yeah, because Microsoft doesn't want crossplay with Sony.

Bansai4053d ago (Edited 4053d ago )

Yeah sorry, I prefer a fresh start and not having to go against PC players who already sank considerable amount of time into it, mainly the reason why I skipped FF XIV for PS4.

kingduqc4052d ago

There is a reason why... Skill gap with a keyboard and mouse is much higher then with a controller.

In ffXIV you could tell who was playing on a console it was so obvious.

Maxor4052d ago

There is a considerable open world PVP element in this game, and even if all things are equal, PC users will absolutely destroy the console population due to keyboard and mouse superiority alone.

In fact, I have no idea how console players will be able to marshall and direct masses of players to attack and defend without zone an active zone chat.

Have been waiting for this game, I need some next gen Elder Scrolls and playing with friends is definitely a bonus!

WellyUK4053d ago

This game is not like the other ES games.

Hereiamhereibe24053d ago

Dont expect an ES this is produced by Zeni, and it is an MMO. But if your a fan of the Elder Scrolls Lore and a fan of MMOs definatley pick it up.

BallsEye4052d ago (Edited 4052d ago )

Played it for a while on PC with my wife. Level 40 now. It's really a great game! Don't listen to the haters that played only a buggy beta.
facts:
-best looking mmo to date
-the only mmo with quests that make you feel like you play a single player game
-best looting!
-awesome combat
-awesome pvp
-HUGE world (just the pvp area is same size as whole TES:Oblivion)

I Highly recommend it! Gonna transfer to xbox one from pc once it's out.

Only thing I worry about is framerate. I have a monster pC and yet in big battles or busy cities it can drop framerate to 20fps at times. It's normal for a PC MMO but I wonder how they will resolve it on consoles. Probably unlocked 60 fps like neverwinter on xbox one.

NerdStalker4052d ago

I'd say with ps4 being the more powerful console and having the bigger install base, if any one of the two consoles has a higher fps it will be ps4.

buttclown4052d ago

I expect both consoles to be around 30 fps in cyrodil and in the cities. It wouldn't surprise me if the whole game was locked at 30. I am sticking on pc though, I don't think anyone on my friends list will continue to play this so I don't want to transfer my character over.

BumperSticker4053d ago

Awww, yiss!
Going to keep my eyes open for this :)

DanteVFenris6664053d ago

only thing that sucks is ive been looking at their updates and it looks like all their resources are putting towards the consoles so there will be no new content from the patch its currently at from today

Alexious4053d ago

Yeah, new content will only be released after the game is out on consoles.

DanteVFenris6664052d ago

yea i know i saw it, but i havent played it yet. I think the last time i played it seriously was last summer. Cant really play these mmos durring school
