hey guys, just a quick question... when will the june NPD be released? its july 15th, they release it around this time of the month so it must be soon...

I see they're too chicken to choose an outright winner (PS3 vs 360) so they make the numbers as close as possible and will attribute any mistake to a sampling error. LOL

Not that I believe a damn thing these morons post but even if true PS3 is outselling xbox 360 hardware wise and for a 6 million gap in install base, it's only 400,000 off on total software sold.

Seems to me like ps3 is actually doing better than the media or most want us to believe.

Come on, lets be honest here..... the allegedly all mighty and all conquering MGS 4 has only been out for 4 weeks and already sales are dropping badly.... i thought MGS 4 was gonna be another nail in the 360's coffin? ps3 owners back in the day said that the 2 games that would bring down the 360 would be MGS 4 and FFXIII.... well , MGS 4 has been and gone and not really made that much of an impact... and now FFXIII is on the 360.... the ps3 only beat the 360 by a PALTRY 3,000 consoles...... it doesn't look good for ps3 does it, especially when its struggling to beat a console thats 2 1/2 years old in the sales department...... OH DEAR....

where is MGS4? whats that....what? sitting on the store shelves you say.

i will also be sending sony a bouquet of flowers i am currently googling trying to find which flowers represent success

i find it funny that every sony fanboy kept saying "wait til MGS4 comes out, then you'll see!"...all i see is the same thing we saw over and over again with games like Heavenly Sword, Ratchet & Clank, and other ps3 "blockbusters"...the y don't sell!

it's amazing how sony fanboys hyped up MGS4 as the game that will catapult the ps3 into the console lead, and the game isn't even in the top 10 in sales after only 4 WEEKS!!!! wow, i have never seen a "blockbuster" game sink so fast in sales charts!!! fanboys will say "vgcharts isn't accurate", but do they think that when the NPD numbers come out that somehow MGS4 is going to magically appear at the top of the sales chart?

the difference between 360 owners and ps3 owners is quite simple...both hype their consoles "blockbuster" games, but only 360 owners actually BUY the games.....

Looks like the Xbox did worse in sales and the PS3 did better. Seeing that probable made Sony happy. :)

I was very excited about that announcement yesterday and wonder what will happen once the public can access the 80gb model and at the new 100 dollar less price tag. it's going to be an exciting holiday season!
